Drok's Run Challenge (Win an unded Kuunavang)

    Posted: 03 Mar 2021 03:14 PM PST

Recently I have been running to Drok's a lot... And I remembered how fun it was back in 2012! So, I decided to hold a running competition with the chance to win an unded Kuunavang (https://imgur.com/jNhvXsa)

This will run until March 31st, 2020 at midnight (Eastern/ -5 gmt)

    The rules are simple:

    1. Video proof must be shown
    2. A timer must be used
    3. The timer starts as soon as you zone into Lornar's Pass from Beacon's Perch and ends when you zone from Talus Chute into Drok's
    4. The only consumables that are allowed are: alcohol, summon stones and city speed boost
    5. Must be solo (no heros/hench/real people)

    Baseline time: 11:04 (https://youtu.be/BEskwLRvACY)

Hi all :) I was wondering if I should start GW again and thought to myself, if I do so, better prepare to go out solo. Any suggestions or places where I could find what I am looking for?

What skill(s) you wish didn't exist?

    Posted: 03 Mar 2021 11:05 AM PST

    And why? Pve or pvp?

As a monk main, I would say UA and seed of life.

UA turns the healer into a revive machine (and everybody expects you to play it). I hate the fact that it doesn't punish you (and your team) for letting your teammates die. It revives them full hp and mana on your position. You're more likely to watch your teammates die than actually heal them to save them (since you don't have the casting speed HB brings you nor the preventive prot skills that healing wave builds allow you to bring). This goes against the very purpose of the class.

As for seed of life, it's kind of busted with a 20 sec cool down. It's similar to an emergency red button you can press to heal up your whole team (given you use it on the right perso) and make it invincible for 6sec,every 20sec. It's probably even better than the skill they give you in raisu palace. It really makes healing brainless and removes all the complexity of the class.

I'm also surprised life sheath sees so little play (at least in Pve).

    Guildwars Remaster

    Posted: 03 Mar 2021 10:09 AM PST

So the news of the Diablo 2 remaster (super excited for this) got me thinking about a guild wars 1 remaster. Now I realize, this is never going to happen but if it was what would you want? In the Diablo 2 forums pretty much people want graphical upgrades and that is pretty much it (a few QoL changes too). Would a remaster in Guild Wars basically be just a graphical upgrade or would you want more?

GW Account Recovery - Fingers Crossed

    Posted: 03 Mar 2021 10:51 AM PST

    Hello all,

It's been a while since I've played but I found some of my old screenshots of Guild Wars and I submitted a ticket to recover my account. While I don't remember much of my account information, I sent along a couple of those screenshots I found so I'm hoping I can get back my account and possibly keep my character names for GW2. I was a huge fan of the old game and even got to meet Gaile Gray at the GW booth during 2005 San Diego Comic Con.

Anyone here from the old [TSK] The Seraphim Knights guild?

    Question Regarding Cape Trim

    Posted: 03 Mar 2021 12:30 PM PST

I saw someone in Kamadan advertising a cape trim service where he would join your guild, use his tourney points to change the cape trim, and then simply leave the guild.

I am a long time player who has been absent for a couple years. Is this legit? I have tourney points of my own from a long time ago, so I am just curious to know if this is a thing now.
