| Join Our PvE Campaigning Group! Posted: 06 Aug 2020 09:54 AM PDT We have a group of 12-15 working through all three campaigns. Right now we're almost done (finishing the desert) with prophecies. We're looking for more players to join as as we finish up prophecies and then move on to factions and finally nightfall. There is also a lot of interest in enjoying the end-game dungeons with each other (and likely some non-meta parties). We try to play with 100% player character groups. Most of us are returning players and we all have a genuine affection for GW1. We play 2-3 days per week, typically 5-10pm Pacific. Almost all the players are on PST, CST, or EST. In a typical week, we try to do a few missions on Mondays and Wednesdays and then people do side quests in smaller groups throughout the week. We (almost) all started new characters in prophecies to work through the campaign from scratch. This will not be a requirement to join the group but i expect some people will want to start new characters when we start factions. Everything is coordinated through discord where we chat throughout the week and use voice chat during game play. | Posted: 06 Aug 2020 09:08 AM PDT Hi all, I recently got back into the game and found I can do some nick farming (and other farming) using Google Remote Desktop pretty easily there is just some lag. People are asking for HD often but I haven't seen anyone suggest a new Phone UI and re-releasing as a phone/tablet game. I think this would be way more profitable and i feel guild wars was destined to be played this way. (Similar to what Old School Runescape did except it doesn't need to be cross-platform) I have no doubt the game would be a huge success and the expenses would be far-less than creating an entirely new game on the phone. I would imagine It would literally just be a team converting the game format and another team making the new UI. (Forgive me I don't know much about this process) Could charge 20-50$ for the game and it would stomp all the Gacha games out there right now. I feel like this is a missed cash-cow for Arenanet and would grow the game even faster. (Forgive me if I don't understand the whole process it just seems like such easy money they wouldn't even have to make HD or anything just port it all and edit the format/UI) I also wouldn't mind everyone having to restart from scratch for mobile and it having a restarted economy - would make it so seeing things like chaos gauntlets would make your jaw drop again. MoM is crazy strong for low level eles cause you only need 9 energy storage to get 12 in every attribute, and the axe autoattacks are v strong too. meteor / whirlwind / aftershock / inferno / master of magic / mystic regenration / stoneflesh aura / conjure frost anyone using any fun builds at the mo? | Banned from Presearing Boards, why? :( Posted: 06 Aug 2020 02:48 PM PDT Every time i try to access the presearing.boards.net i get directed to a white page with the text "You have been banned from this forum." and I cant figure out why. I think I made an account once to access a download, but i'm 100% certain I never posted anything at all, let alone do anything that would justify a ban. I used to go there a lot to look at some of the guides and every time i google something related nowadays, I get redirected there, just to be reminded that i can't have what i was looking for. Its definitely an IP ban as well because i can't even get to login. pls help [link] [comments] |
