    This has been talked about time and time again, and supposedly (bearing an older post in mind), the team was paying attention to feedback about it. 4 years ago.

    I like the infusion as is, but the skybox-like texture is low-res, and there's no excuse to let it be for YEARS now.... we have the similar mount skins with much better textures, and they look beautiful. Even if the same texture was slapped on this infusion, it'd look much better than it currently does.

    Now, I may also be pretty nitpicky, but I think it's kinda inconsistent from a design standpoint. But please, there's been plenty of topics on this matter, and I admit, it's gotten pretty tiring to see them pop up every now and then. But I'm sure I'm not the only one who wants one of my favorite infusions to see justice :/

    I kinda lost hope that ANet will bother to fix this. And I'm sure I'll be downvoted to oblivion. But yeah, there was an attempt.

    Hello Reddit!

    This took some time and high effort so I want to share with you all the new Raid guides that are now live in guildjen.com

    I already shared my opinion about the raid community and I want to help more people overcome performance anxiety due to unrealistic expectations placed on raids. I really hope these guides will help because raids aren't that hard and with the right knowledge you can be prepared. These guides do not prescribe one way, but instead suggest multiple strategies and ways to handle the mechanics that can work regardless of the current balance. They are meant to be timeless and show PoVs of every role in the encounters so you can get second-hand experience with the encounter.

    Do story/living world bugs EVER get fixed in this game?

    A few months ago, my girlfriend and I were looking for a game to play together. We had both played GW2 a bit, so we decided to go back to that. We had both done a bit of Path of Fire to get our raptor mount, but that was about it. So now we've started back doing Living World and Heart of Thorns content too.

    The first one that REALLY annoyed us was "Forewarned is Forearmed". It bugged with "Listen to Taimi" and we ran around the map for literally an hour trying to figure out what to do. Afterwards we went to the Wiki and it was like "Yeah here's the bug and here's what you should do."

    Then we did "Buried Insight" in Heart of Thorns, and it stuck at "Find the Dragon Research" so we ran around the map for like 20 minutes until we wandered back near the group and they started talking again. Went to the Wiki and sure enough... it's listed as a known bug.

    We just now did "Summit Invitations" and destroyed the Dragon totem while doing the assault event. After the event ended, it says "Destroy the Dragon Totem" as the objective... but... it's already destroyed. I can't destroy it any further. Went to the wiki and forums and sure enough.... known bug.

    That bug has been in the game for the better part of a decade. It's apparently well documented. Why has it not been fixed yet? Why have ANY of the story missions not been fixed yet? We're paying money for those, and we have to go read spoilers to make sure we don't encounter bugs along the way?

    I don't understand why this is "a thing" after this many years. Are there any other annoying time consuming bugs I need to know about in any of the story missions ahead of us? Do I need to just go read spoilers and know everything that's about to happen before we do it to not get infuriated at this game?

    Getting into Raiding

    I returned to the game after a few years and am wanting to get into raids.

    In map chat and aerodome I don't see many people looking for group - am I just not looking during the right time of day?

    I joined the discord but it seems there are only a few runs every so often.

    Some guilds advertise raiding but it looks like they rarely do it, or just once in a while.

    How did you guys get into raiding? I am looking to find a consistent group to learn and do raids pretty often with.

    Condi Daredevil or Condi Soulbeast for PvE?

    I am trying to decide between Soulbeast and Daredevil because I want a non-magical damage-dealer. I only play PvE (mostly Open World but I would also like to try fractals in the future) and I prefer to play condi (just a preference, tho).

    Currently, I prefer Condi-Thief simply because it is fun and faster than Ranger. But if Condi-Dareveil is as bad as people say, I should make a Soulbeast instead. Can someone give me their opinions about condi-dd or condi-sb?

    Teach me griffin sensei

    I heard there's a guild out there dedicated to teaching ppl the way of the griffon.

    It's my fav mount and while I am working towards sky scale from what I've tried on dragon fall griffon is still bae and I've seen amazing vids of ppls handles with them and want to learn the tricks. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
