    Am I Really useless?

    I am Free to Play player for over 2 years now I really love to play GW2 even with all my limitations of FTP (not a single legendary Item and all that ) Yesterday, during my regular WvW play , after 11 kills (on this pic you can see clear 5 scores) one girl constantly yelling at me "THIS IS REALLY STUPID!"....and again:" REALLY ,REALLY STUPID!" .....I was unpleasantly surprised asking my self: "What I did wrong?"...then again after few minutes:" THIS IS NOT EFFECTIVE IN ANY WAY. YOU DON'T DO NOTHING FOR WVW OR FACTION JUST SHOOTING TREBUCHETS. FIND ANOTHER GAME." I am big fun of an artillery and in Guild Wars World versus World I find excellent mechanics of medieval artillery which actually works perfectly and I enjoyed very much in every game. And ..now this ...cold shower. I want to know , If you can explain me :What I do wrong?

    I have been playing this game on and off for more than five years, I remember killing Vale Guardian as my first raid boss back in 2018 and suddenly a weird 'Envoy Armor Collection' unlocked on my account, I started doing it back then, and remember getting really frustrated for never finding a group to kill Xera with, so I stopped playing, until I got back this year and finally managed to kill her. Today, I killed Deimos for the first time and kneeled by the Tree of Solitude to finish the second collection. The cutscene after the Deimos fight almost made me tear up and realize how much I love this game and raids in general, the lore behind them is trully amazing. This post is a shoutout to Arena Net and the gw2 community for making this game what it is, you are the best!

    Presenting a new overlay: Electaco!

    Hello! Most of you know TacO, and many know Blish. Both are GW2 overlays showing various game info. This is my simpler take on it.

    So, what does this have to offer? First of all, the goal of this is to have a much different approach, a simpler and easier one. I don't intend to match the others in functionality, but go different ways. Experiment with other approaches, and go where my mood takes me :)

    For a more concrete example of a different way, this overlay support video markers. And HLS live streaming. My guild is already using that for movie nights, with a movie theater in our guild hall - and we're possibly the first guild in GW2's history that have done that!

    As for source code, I'm planning on releasing that later (it's electron based, so it's not exactly rocket science to extract it), but there are some stuff in the git history that needs to be censored out and some support tools that should be cleaned up first. Right now I'm just happy I have a version I can release publicly - it took me about 3 days just to rewrite the code not to have our guild theatre info hardcoded in it.

    Please check it out, and let me know what you think of it! Also, I've had a few guildies having various problems running it, if you have trouble I'm interested in your hardware and OS setup and maybe I can narrow down what causes it.

    How do I raid without Killproof?

    Everyone's asking me for KP but I dont have any KP because I've never raided before but how am I supposed to raid and get KP if I have no KP in the first place? I joined training groups and "beginner" friendly groups but they still ask me for KP!!! If not KP I just get kicked because I'm not playing the class they want.

    Legendary collectors, how do you over come the bottle neck of clovers?

    I finished my one and only legendary weapon. Now I'm working on the armor from pvp and have just barely enough clovers to cover that, but im also working on vision too with aspiration to do aurora eventually but id need about 150 clovers between those two. How on Tyria do you do it?

    All the mats seem like they can be aggressively farmed except for clovers. At best you can do two a day from fractals, but even then the accumulation seems abysmal.

    On the Live Stream last night devs reached a goal and they gave a hint, where they said there's some dialog, from the cat, that is not on wiki. What do you think the hint means? We have two days to figure this out before halloween ends.

    AMD Fidelity FX Super Resolution Support

    I have always wanted to see NVIDIA DLSS support for Guild Wars 2 or AMD FSR in case of lack of the former.

    Having said that, would you guys like to add your voice by filling up the survey on AMD site, since NVIDIA seems to base it more on working directly with the dev's to add DLSS support, instead of players.

    Endless Boss Loop

    My biggest problem is I hate grouping up before doing content. I want to queue up and dive in... no picking which content to do and no finding a group first. Here's my thought. Remember the Dragon Bash Arena where you hop in and start bashing one boss after another. What if you can queue into an endless loop of strike mission bosses or other content? It's always going and it fills new instances between rounds. It cycles through all the strike missions and maybe if there's enough people in the queue it kicks off Marionette or Dragonstorm. Maybe tack down the difficulty and rewards since the random nature would make it hard to always be equipped perfectly. Hell they could throw in any instance content... so dragon response, fractals or dungeons could go in too. I know it probably wouldn't work because if there aren't enough people it'll be pointless. The thought is if there's one queue for everyone, hopefully there would always be enough people to keep it going.

    Visual Noise Causing Headaches

    Hey there people of Tyria,

    I love playing this game, but due to a recent medical condition, I do need to limit time in front of a screen, and especially so when there are multiple flashing lights and intense changes in color/brightness. Lately I've just been trying to avoid any large group content and flashy bosses due to the headaches it causes and pain to my eyes.

    I know there isn't currently a way of turning off legendary effects, infusions and flashing lights completely, but was wondering if there are any 3rd party solutions or other tricks to reducing them as much as possible?

    Was trying to do a hero point run recently, and all the mounts and gliders with glowing effects opening and closing suddenly cut the run short.

    It would be nice if there were more options to control these things if not for only personal preference, but for people with extreme sensitivity to these things as well.

    Fractal Progression, need some help.

    Hello everyone, I've been playing this game since HoT but i always focus on personal stories and the open world. Now, I think its time i focus more on the multiplayer aspect of the game and I wanna progress on my fractal, I have enough gold to just buy infusion and get to 150 now but idk if its worth it since i've heard that T4 fractal is hard and pubg can be toxic sometimes.

    another question is, is the meta must in t4? currently, I main Renegade with full Pahua stats and it help me immensely since I'm not super at the game and playing on the different region from the server which makes my ping go up to 240+.

    For Raid KP, does this refer to the decos dropped by the last boss (i.e. Sabetha's flamethrower things) only, or for all bosses in a given wing?

    Im currently holding onto 21 different KPs, and if I could cut that by 2/3, it would free up a lot of inventory room. Have a nice day.

    Random crashes in pvp

    This has happened twice already in the past 2 days. The game goes white and after a while it crashes. What's weird is that it affects players on the same team. The first time me and another teammate crashed, and now 3 of my other teammates and me crashed. We had to close the game and reboot but by the time we got back the score difference was too high to come back.
