Botting problem ruining Fort Aspenwood (FA) games Posted: 24 Jul 2021 03:58 PM PDT As many of you know, every Saturday evening Fort Aspenwood games are being played for many hours. This has become a community event for which many players log in on a weekly basis. Recently however some people have been actively sabotaging the games. People somehow use bots (I think bots that instantly leave) to make one of the teams have only 7 players. It is almost always the luxon team that ends up being 7 players. Note that there isn't even an 8th slot showing up in the team (see screenshot). This started happening more frequently in recent weeks, but this week it happened almost every single game. It feels to me like someone is ruining a weekly event that has become an important part of our community just for cheap wins, or to ruin the fun for others. I wonder if there is anything that can be done about this? If any of the remaining active devs reads this, your input would be welcome. mAT July 2021 - Debrief Posted: 24 Jul 2021 08:59 AM PDT Hello to all, I'm making this post to talk about the new recent guild that appeared on Guild Wars in MAT, for those who don't know at all what's going on in MAT, for far too long a team has been playing with a mesmer bot (mesmer that ruptures skills impossible as a human: 0. 25/1 Cast as a patient spirit, spirit bond....), this team has won several times the MAT and therefore the gold, until then "measures" have tried to be taken by one of the developers of anet, and after that the players have done their best to win. ​ This month if another team appeared, so there were 7 Guilds, 5 who play normally and 2 with a bot, one player has already made many reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/GuildWars/comments/mt0tx8/bot_mesmer_wins_april_2021_mat_again/ ​ but these remain without effect. ​ I think that it is necessary to radically take measures, it is necessary that aNet makes really things on the game, and other than repaired a name of Mini Pet. Hi guys please criticise my hero build and suggest anything! Posted: 24 Jul 2021 05:26 AM PDT Like many of us I am really bored of playing cookie cutter meta like assassins promise nec and esurge mes heroes. I have come up with this build based on conditions. I also play a pvx build which is really good based on buffing up bone fiends with ebsoh and order of the undeath. Please suggest stuff which might improve this? Just some additional information: the dervs have 0 stats in wind/earth prayers to proc fragility as much as possible. I am really liking the stolen speed on mesmer - makes other mesmers cast stuff quicker. It's also cheap and fairly spammable. I am not sure the extra energy is needed from blood ritual on mesmer but I thought it is quite a nice way to provide more battery to other heroes and this hero doesn't use much energy because of the signet build so can spam this and other necro enches. Also one derv should be avatar of balthazar rather than grenth.
