    I played through all of the original story years ago, but I'm doing the meta stuff to redo it. Who is E? I don't remember this character at all, and I know he doesn't pop up in PoF.

    fractals are great don't get me wrong but they just don't have the same world building that dungeons had, they melded into the open world so well with low entry requirements (no worry about agony resistance) and could be a good introduction to fractals as fractals are cornered off in their own part of LA.

    for example imagine with this new expansion End Of Dragons (not saying this will/should happen) there was 2 dungeons. One Luxon style (under the jade sea) dungeon and one Kurzick (stone forrest style) dungeon.

    Story mode would be like any other instanced solo story mission in PoF or HoT (like the way Arah story works or how the set up for strike missions work). Afterwards explorable is unlocked, each of the 2 dungeons with 2 paths each (so 4 dungeon paths total). Health pools of bosses relatable to the power creep we have seen over the years, crisper mechanics with visible telegraphs on par with fractals and raids (not necessarily really hard or hardcore). add maybe a couple of events within the dungeon which you can skip past or ignore but if you do them you get a chest with some extra dungeon tokens and raw gold in that you can do daily.

    I think the underestimation of the world building of an expansion that expansion themed dungeons would add to make the expansion feel meaty is criminal. I'll never forget going into the deep catacombs of AC, or the feeling of walking around a massive gorgeous inquest city like building while an experiment gone wrong is on the loose in CoE. Or the big towering Curved architecture that looms over you in Arah. You forget how amazing some of the dungeons were when it comes to atmosphere and environmental settings and places until you do them again.

    Think of the replay-ability and rewards (what IMO the game is missing the most in the content it has been releasing). for those of you who played GW1 Factions you may remember there was a Luxon base and elite armour set and a Kurzicks base and elite armour set. could have the base luxon/kurzick armour be an exotic set (choose-able stats) and then the elite luxon/kurzick armour set could be ascended level and require more tokens to purchase. I would have raw gold as a reward for completing the dungeon. I am fed up of getting teir 4/5 materials that i deposit into my bank to sell on later, it is just not rewarding. Even if technically the value of my bank is going more than if i got rewarded with raw gold, it never feels like it. i want to see my gold go up in my bag after i am done farming. token base/elite dungeon weapon set skins. 1 luxon and 1 kurzick mount skin for a high amount of dungeon tokens. recipes. ascended accessories. legendary gifts. minis. throw in a couple of random weapon skins as drops maybe 5/6 that aren't part of a particular set and are unique (like raid weapon drops). add a random mount skin that is a rare drop from an optional boss that can't be bought with tokens or gold or gems.

    IMO new dungeons could hit such a sweet spot in GW2 today, what do you think?

    *As long as it's not one of those stupid repeat-required hearts. The "you have to re-do the heart quests for this vendor to sell you anything" is a little bit obviously grind, isn't it? You liked me YESTERDAY for all the crap I saved you and your whole town from, but today you won't even talk to me?

    Loading Screen Tips

    The game has a rather steep lurning curve as we all know.

    We desperately need a better new player experience as well as tutorials

    With the recent #GW2info initiative on twitter, I was thinking, that Little tips during loading screen could be very useful.

    Like what is the mysterious blue bar under the HP bar, how to condi cleanse, where to find pvp, how to combo field, where to find dailies, what is an AT, where is LFG, etc...

    Launch buddy - Update required

    For a couple of days now, in Launch buddy it says 'Update required' on all accounts I have there.

    I'm using V2.3.2. Is there a fix or is anyone else having this issue?

    Edit: Thanks for the reply.

    Managed to fix it by changing the version in the %APPDATA%\Gw2 Launchbuddy\Accs.xml file

    Replace all <gw2build>115267</gw2build> with <gw2build>115815</gw2build> where the '115815' is the current version of the GW2 client. For the future, you can find the latest version under the 'Ready' or 'Play' button on the normal Gw2 launcher.

    I remember back then people talking about how limited the engine is and it probably will stop being supported, or gw3 would arrive instead.

    As you can suspect from the title, I suggest adding items to commemorate or achievements to commemorate and embody our most prized possessions and displays related to such. An example of this is the ability to copy someone's image of their current armor, dyes and equipment and set up a pose for them in the guild hall or show their current title and a small message. This can result in those that have fallen or passed away a way to be remembered with a small memorandum.

    As far as the Hall of monuments section of the suggestion allow those of us that have obtained hard achievements like DwD / expensive minipets / a legendary to be able to display our prizes on pedestals (could also use the above suggestion for statues)...after all we already have statues in Spvp lobby for tournament winners...can we just have this for guild halls but in color?
