And im stuck with mastery points and i have no clue where to start. So i want to start a new character, i just cant deceide what profession. So i have a few questions. What i want to do? - pvp; unranked and ranked. - What profession should i play, that is decent for pvp AND pve? I enjoyed ranger, neromancer and guardian.Should i play something new, or just make a new ranger for example and start at the start? - What is the proper start? what to do first? how to get mastery points? Enjoy! Chrono/Mirage (Titan) Druid (Jacky) Firebrand/Berserker (Tonnio) Holo/Chrono (Jaydens) Holo/Chrono (Ravi) Holo/Chrono (Hidrozig) Berserk/Chrono (White) Herald/Chrono (Kozenko) Herald/Renegade (Row) Tempest/Chrono (Arka) Logs Full Wing 3 : https://dps.report/j03p-20210415-223833_kc https://dps.report/btpZ-20210415-223924_tc https://dps.report/TKXg-20210415-224352_xera — GENERAL STRATEGY — — ESCORT 2:42 — We were holding the previous World Record in 3:36 but we wanted to push the time further. We changed the strategy until the opening of the bridge door. We found out that we could improve at least our time by 20 seconds. Two players were needed to make this shortcut. First, the Chronomancer ran close enough to the bridge to trigger it. Then, the Tempest spoke to Glenna to start the Escort and had to "/gg" right after to skip the dialog. Eventually, the Chronomancer had to "/gg" as well to fail the first attempt so as to be able to restart the actual run wihtout needing to open the bridge gate. On the Tower side, we added a Druid in order to cap Towers faster with the Glyph of Tides. Glyph of the Stars was used so that the Chronomancer wasn't blinded while pushing mobs. We kept a Berserker with "Fear Me", a Renegade giving Alacrity/Stability and of course a Chronomancer. On Glenna's side, the Firebrand and the Herald were in charge of giving stability to Glenna and the group. Moreover, the Herald was the first call after every cap. He was never waiting the Tower to be capped to run forward in order to accelerate the run. Our Holosmiths had to mantain permanent Superspeed on Glenna to make her run faster between the checkpoints. Furthermore, they did some calls to move her as well. Since we lost the Druid on Glenna's side, we needed a healer to keep her alive under the Towers attacks. We chose to give this role to a Tempest. The heal Tempest was in charge of giving an FGS to the Chronomancer at the beginning. Besides, he had to control each group of ennemies spawning preventing them to hinder Glenna. Due to a god RNG, we skipped during that run a McLeod phase from 75% to 25%. To wrap up, this was was our best Escort run and the new World Record in 2:42 (beating our own World Record by almost 1 minute!). — KEEP CONSTRUCT 3:18 — We used the same strategy as the current World Record, meaning that we did the 3 phases in the middle without doing any CC. We took only one Defender to decrease the risks to fail the DPS check on final phase before the long KC jump. — TWISTED CASTLE 0:44/0:37/0:23 — Full Wing 3 (0:44) The goal of this run was to allow the runner to go as fast as possible to the end. The shortest path is to go directly to the right from the starting platform to make a leap on the platform below. The first issue we encountered is a closed door that can be opened by standing on the button next to the fountain. To open this door, we made a DPS party consisting of 8 players to kill the mobs locking us away from the button. The second issue we encountered was an inactive portal that could be opened by killing the mobs in front of it. We then had to use some portals to bring back our DPS party to the mobs. The last thing needed to finish the Twisted Castle was to activate 4 more buttons to let the runner open the final gate. So, we chose the fastest buttons to stand on. "Glitchless" TC (0:37) During the Wing 3 run, we did some mistakes making us want to improve our time of 0:44. We swapped some classes with Dragonhunters to be a little more bursty and obtained a 0:37 run. We tried to position the runner the furthest into Twisted Castle but we didn't find out how to get to the final door. By doing so, we had 2 parties of DPS players standing each on a group of mobs and setting the runner in front of the inactive portal. We consider this run more in the glitched category. | Posted: 22 Apr 2021 07:11 AM PDT Hi all, I was just getting back into the game and was wondering about that status of the existing GvG/Zerg scene on NA for WvW. I am currently on Kaineng , and am looking to transfer to an open server/a closed server's link to participate in WvW action. I'm specifically interested in getting back into GvGing and running raids with a large active server (ideally with multiple tags up many times a week). I'm not interested in roaming/ppt, and have experience with GvGs and running meta builds. I am looking for (1) an active and close-knit guild to transfer to but am equally interested in ensuring that (2) the server/closed server I end up transferring (or linking) to has a large WvW community with numerous active guilds and multiple large tags/fights during peak hours. Please let me know if your guild is recruiting, or if you know other guilds that are recruiting--especially if said guilds are fight-oriented and are at least somewhat involved in GvGing. I would also really appreciate it if you could recommend me very active servers to transfer to--my current server is sadly pretty much dead. Also to not forget to mention that i won't even need to create an account for it, and i'll have all my games within a library! Is it worth it? And if not, why? Now he has never ever ever played guild wars barring some pvp. Want to find the best way to get him a solid experience. Original story then POF ? Or original to HOT to POF or skip original ?
