    The Next Great Threat: Skritt Radio

    As the Living world has progressed Taimi's radio tech seems to be spreading further. No longer just the commander, or even their guild, but it seems the Charr Legions started using them during their civil war.

    Meanwhile we have the skritt, who can communicate immeasurably fast with each other, increasing their group intelligence the more that there are, limited only by the skritt in speaking range. And who are known for stealing tech from others, including the charr. Further, it's reasonable that loads of tech will be lost in battle in the coming Elder Dragon conflict, another opportunity skritt are known for scavenging.

    So as we consider the threats we may face after End of Dragons, we might not want to forget the Skritt.

    Allied Factions - What's the purpose of them?

    From my understanding Allied Factions consist of an event that lasts 1 week and is completed by buying stuff from factions vendor, new vendor with some rewards and a set of dailies that last till next faction is available. Is that it? There is nothing else to it? There is no new lore about those factions, no gameplay, no content? What's the purpose of those? Why list them in trailers, like they are some big important features of a chapter? Anyone even cares about those? People really hate DRMs, but honestly Allied Factions is far worse system of those two. At least in DRMs there is some gameplay there. Not very good gameplay, but it is there. Allied Factions is just the UI.

    Account not possible...?

    Hello Reddit. About a week ago someone got into my email address and gw2 account, changed password of gw2 account and started his evil shenanigans. After some back and forth with the support i was able to get my accoutn back and ofc, as they recommended changed my passwords again. However on getting online i boticed that several ascended armor sets were missing, all my gold, bags, gems even friendlist gone. Only thing left was white trash gear and a mail saying "thx" as a kick in my face. Quite frustrating to lose months worth of gameplay but it happens. But more so is it frustrating when you make a new ticket and state said problem to the support and ask for a account recovery only to get the answer "were sorry but we cant do anything because your account isnt compromised" eventho weve just been through getting my hacked account back. Clearly someone was in there and messing with stuff and we JUST worked on it so this problem is known. how is this then not a comprimised account. Since the ticket didnt work i am now trying tor each out to Reddit as a german player to ask what possibly can i do for a account recovery? The support does mention on their website that account recoveries ARE possible in these situations. Its my last attempt to get my stuff back before giv8ng up on this. Losing so much is just not fun :v

    Tldr: german/european account got hacked. Lost lots of stuff. Support refuses to do a account recovery/rollback. What can i do?

    Have not pugged raids in a while and looking to gather some LI again for another legendary set.

    What's the most commonly accepted KP these days? Still the guild hall decorations or is arcdps KP plug in commonly used?

    Don't want to use LI for obvious reasons and want to streamline raiding w1 through 4.

    Hear me out.

    Imagine anet adds another portal to EOTN. There you pick a wing, and then another dialog comes up and you pick a boss.

    And you go and fight the boss (in strike style, no pre events no nothing).

    The bosses would have stripped down mechanics, less hp, and deal less damage; rewards would be the same as strikes (add an "echo of [wing name]" to the chest in weekly rotation.

    So, let's say you pick deimos.

    The fight would be in an arena like the others, so noone can fall and die. The would be no pre-event, no chains, and saul would be weaker. Deimos should have like 40% of it's real life.

    There should be no oil and no last 10% (keep it a surprise).

    This thing would fix many issues.

    • Strikers get new strikes

    • Strikers can now confidently start raiding with each other, as raids would be what CM fractals are to normal ones.

    • PUG Raiders get new people, revitalizing the scene

    • Guilds get new members out of the now healthy pug pool

    • Elite players get new members from the guilds/new guilds that formed

    • Retooling a raid boss can't possibly be harder than doing it to a world/personal story one.

    • They can milk this for years without having to come up with new stuff, plus they can throw a few bosses and call it a day, since the day strikers realize raids are not that much harder, they will start raiding for real.

    • Cons: ???

    What do you guys think?

    Has anyone got links to current meta and low skill builds for PvP? I play my Burn Guardian mainly and can handle myself on my Necro usually (in a group primarily) but I am after builds for the other classes. I main Ranger in PvE but have never played Druid and God of PVP have this as the meta build but I don't see that many running it. Their builds also have skill ratings but zero advice on playing the build.

    So any guides/YouTube videos I can follow would be awesome!

    And are the Metabattle builds relevant still or are they all old and outdated now?

    to the really rich traders: how the fuck do u click so much

    so this morning i encountered a trading barrier of someone who bought 150k of one item. since i trade this item a lot i know that this offering wasnt there yesterday, so someone must have bought 150k overnight. and my question is: even if u get all of the 150k, how the fuck do u sell it? u cant sell more then 20 - 30 stacks at once because trading post doenst allow it ("u made to much selling requests, please wait until u sell more"). i remember that during wintersday i sometimes bought 20 - 30k of one item and it took like hours to sell them due to trading post restrictions. also i wonder, if i have the money to buy stuff for like 3k gold, why do i still trade the cheap stuff? the guy i mentioned has to klick like 3 o4 hours to sell it. and that or for maybe 10 - 15 % margin. why dont trade more expensive stuff that u can klick away fast?

    edit: i am stupid, u can just make a one-click macro and let it run for some hours
