| Buying build template slots is PER CHARACTER?! Posted: 27 Jan 2021 01:59 AM PST Holy shit. Returning playing, haven't played in 8 years. Build templates are amazing, thank god they exist at last, but wow. If you want room for for one PvE equipment build, one PvP build, and one WvW build (ya know, the basic gameplay modes) you have to pay 500 gems PER CHARACTER to have that. God forbid if you want multiple options in any of those. Unreal greed. Edit: I'm talking about equipment btw, which has no code system. The skill one is confusing too - each character has several tabs buts theres also a shared pool? Why would ever want your necro builds accesible on your guardian? So weird. [link] [comments] | ||

I say DRM improvement are actually on point, I haven't done normal mode, but full on CM are actually fun and engaging while not being that hard but not boring easy, the difficulty is actually on point accurate for TriHard like me and being easy enough for casual, though I hate the WP zerg, but im sure if they removed it, only around 10% of player base would be able to complete it. @TL;DR - new DRM difficulty and improvement are really good, Good Job for the dev team. @note - is there any reward difference in doing CM vs Non CM? | Appreciation for Caledon DRM area of choice (spoilers) Posted: 27 Jan 2021 12:05 AM PST The trailer for this release revealed Caledon Forest will be a DRM area with Icebrood. If we combine that with the datamined area map for where DRMs take place: Then we see this area has a whopping 8+ non-dragon factions present.
Plus this is also the area where the Frogmen shapeshift people into animals and the Asura have shapeshifting slime experiments. And notably in early previews, the Nightware court were under attack by destroyers, so it seems to be a two way battle on top of all these factions. Needless to say, this should be an exciting area to see a modern day take of. [link] [comments] | ||

We knew her argument is bad, but one chapter later and her whole theory is out the window due to her own findings of the dragon's competitive power levels. Taimi seems like too important of a character to cut out, but if she side with Jormag and the Asura after these attacks that feels pretty irredeemable. Edit: To clarify I am only talking about Taimi and other non-Rata Sum Asura. Generally speaking the Rata Sum Government are proven to be immoral and opportunistic monsters who can't be trusted with the fate of the world. [link] [comments] | ||

Did you choose your first piece based on your favourite class, even if the weapon was a rifle that has limited use? Was it the class you play with the most diverse build options (guardian), or was it a whole other thing that started your journey? Edit: also feel free to share what legendary it actually was. | Deldrimor Stoneskin infusion combined with other skin infusions Posted: 26 Jan 2021 02:31 PM PST Since new stone infusion affects both armor and skin, I wanted to know if this could be used to stack stone armor effect with other skin effects - turned out, it does work. Usually. Sometimes it bugs out and there's just stone no matter what, but usually equipping skin infusion, after stone, overrides stone skin and leaves stone armor. There's also bug with legendary armor that - because of changing appearance - removes stone effect from armor until reequipping. So anyway I made few shots to preview this combination with maybe not intrusive outfit (and more visible character's skin): It's something, however there's not much more to expect - compared with "just" skin infusions it just overrides normal armor skin with matte stone texture. In my opinion, it goes well with ember, but others aren't that bad either. Maybe someone finds it helpful, cheers ^^ [link] [comments] | ||

| Raid / Fractal most sought after classes Posted: 27 Jan 2021 01:50 AM PST As the title suggest, I'd like to know which classes are most sought after for raids and fractals. I'm just coming back to the game and I like group content, so I want to be a desired class. So far I've been playing Thief and Necro, but I don't believe those are high-demand classes. Since most information on google is outdated, I figured I'd ask here and hopefully some of you kind folks could help. Which classes are most sought after? If possible, I'd also like it to be a class that can solo open world relatively easily. Since that's what I'll be doing most of the time. [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 26 Jan 2021 02:32 PM PST Hi all, I feel like I am having an issue getting enough cache keys to keep up with how much farming I actually want to do in Drizzlewood. It seems like the main source of keys are from the reward track chests you get every 10 minutes. I'm porting around and tagging events and getting to 150% participation pretty quickly, at most I will have one round of yellow chests, but the metas are being finished so quickly I usually only end the South meta with 15-25 keys, which is not near enough to do all the champ train afterwords. I'm buying 15-20 keys with war supplies daily, but those are expended after 1 or 2 runs. Is there any other source of keys I'm missing? Idk if this makes any difference for keys but my account MF is at 172%, maybe that's too low? - Every time I do the South meta I can only do three or four champs at the end, and every time I do the North meta I only get 10-20 keys so I don't have enough to open everything + chests at the end. The only other thing I can think of would be going to a map that isn't running the meta and trying to do the lesser events like disrupting the Shaman etc. What am I missing? Thanks!
