    New players beware! You do NOT get Living World: The Icebrood Saga when you purchase the expansion!

    As the title said, I feel mislead after buying the GW2 Expansion. I was under the impression from the official GW2 site that upon buying the expansion, I'd be able to access the entirety of The Icebrood Saga campaign (as advertised on https://buy.guildwars2.com/). No-where on the site does it state that you have to purchase the episodes separately.

    This is my warning to other new players who may arrive through Steam at some point, that you do NOT get access to The Icebrood Saga - only access to BUY the campaign :(

    EDIT 3: Even YouTubers got the advertisement wrong: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ka2rVX7Z8FA&t=315 - I have not yet received any answer to my ticket. Again, I'd like to state that my issue with this whole thing is, that they're advertising it as if you get Icebrood Saga unlocked. If they just removed that line of text, awesome! No more player confusion!

    EDIT 4: Senior GM on the case is repeating the answer - although he reffered to the "hover over" text. It does not seem like they want to change or do anything else with this. I've therefore asked for a complete refund.

    What is wrong with the PvP community in this game?

    I've been trying to complete some of the PvP achievements and, wow. Is there a requirement for being a bitter asshole in order to play PvP? Every single game I get into people are yelling in the chat and just insulting people. Make one mistake? You must be a bot, the game is over.

    One game I played I ended up with top stats for damage, kills, and revives or defense or something. But I rotated to far to take it instead of mid to help out my teammate and they just blew up on me. They started screaming about how I must be a bot, the game was over, how I could be so stupid to try and capture a point in a game all about capturing points. Like... one "mistake" and suddenly I have to fight 6 people instead of 5. And a "bot?" Don't they see me killing everyone, like idk, they must have selective blindness or something.

    Another game one of our teammates just decided they were the Captain or something and started ordering everyone around. They typed EVERYTHING in all caps and spammed pings on you if you deigned to do something contrary to their instructions. Like... we're all the same rank dude, nothing makes you better than the whole rest of your team. It was so bad it made me want to do the exact opposite of whatever they said, just because there's no reason to be ordered around like that.

    And stuff like this happens all the time! Every game I played today had some kind of asshole in it. What is up with the community? I'm lucky I have a thick skin, but I left Dota because of the constant toxicity and it's just really sad to see the same state in Guild Wars. Idk, like it's just Guild Wars, people have to take a breath and just calm down. Plenty of people play PvP just to do the dailies or the reward tracks, they're not purposefully trying to sabotage your game.

    Idk, just had to get this off my chest and see if others have the same experience. I'm in NA if it makes a difference, for all your sake I hope EU is somehow better. I'm Silver 3 or 4 or whatever the highest level is, and idk if I even want to be Gold since the games I've played as Gold are somehow even worse.

    Edit: Thanks to those of you who suggested turning off the chat, makes PvP a much more fun experience. Cheers.

    Masteries are becoming lack luster.

    The Escort Warmaster Chan to Shark Anchorage event is forever bugged. Also the wiki says the only way to actively fix the bug is lure the giant into town. Problem is, the other players around won't listen when you tell them not to kill boss. Please fix ANET

    I am not sure if it was posted here or not yet but I have found hidden achievement for Champions story chapter.
    In preevent in each DRM you have to find chicken marked as Villager and bring it to safety spot.

    This track from Champions: Power and Primordus Rising are the best battle music from the Saga so far. The mix of incredible Jormag's leitmotif and Ryland's leitmotif with incredible choir. Composed by Stan LePard. Brilliant music by him this Chapter!

    So after returning to gw2 after quite some time the mechanics of the wardrobe and the mystic forge are a bit hazy.

    Right now I'm pondering if it's worthwhile to buy these three minipets from the black lion unlocker so that I can craft chainsaw the skeleton, but I'm not sure what happens.

    • If I buy the three from the unlocker, are they instantly added to my wardrobe since they're automatically account bound?
    • If not are the three unlocked after I throw them into the mystic forge?

    My Guild Wars 2 Wishlist for 2021

    Hey there,

    after talking with a few people for the past days and surfing throughout the forums and reddit, I wanted to share my own wishlist regarding features for Guild Wars 2 for the upcoming year. Please keep in mind that I'm not a WvW nor a PvP player. I'm just enjoying PvE content from time to time , mostly I'm roleplaying within the german rp-community.

    2021 Wishlist:

    • Dyeable underwear

    • New hairstyles

    • Tattoos for all races

    • Remove the furniture piece limit for small areas

    • Increase the furniture limit of all guild halls

    • A beautiful canthan guild hall

    • Increase the guild level and add more customization with it

    • Normal furniture for guild halls (stairs, sinks, walls, doors etc.)

    • A long and rugged cape/mantle with rogue-like hood (think of ithilien rangers from lord of the rings)

    • Housing

    • Customizable cursor

    • Being able to change sitting animation in chairs

    • New guild missions

    • Fix mapping issue in guild halls where it creates a new instance when there are more than 5 people inside

    • Rework dungeons and make them more rewarding

    • Further roleplay and customization content (things like dyable backpieces, chairs, emotes and meta rewards)

    • Untangle the mixed raid content (strikes, DRMs, raids) and merge it together with playability for casuals and hardcore gamers

    • Less glittery and blingy outfits, more clothes and armors that are down to earth

    • Toggle button for infusions (activate and deactivate)

    • Mount with two seats for two players

    • Charr-bike

    • Make-up options for all races and genders

    • Button to hide infusions from other players

    • Step away from telling stories the same, repetitive way (new map, new meta rewards, meta is party of storytelling)

    • Make all living stories available to play

    • More cutscenes

    • Being able to lean against objects or sit down on edges

    • Screenshot/Camera mode

    • Resizable hero panel

    • Make future masteries actually useful

    • More communication from A-Net

    • Queueing system for LFG-tool

    • Being able to add notes to people on your friendslist

    • Integrate d912pxy into the game

    • Integrate mount radial into the game

    • Jewelry (earrings, rings etc.)

    • No more boring, grindy achievements (repeat mission x for y times)

    Beginner Experience- Enhanced Gear Question

    So I went back to do the tutorial achievements (just to get it done, really, and I know I technically don't need it for the mastery), and i haven't been able to get any enhanced chest drops, as I got rid of the items when I got them a while back, not realizing I needed to equip it for the achievement. Doing a bit of research I found that the drop rate is much lower after the first drop.

    That being said, does anyone know a good method of reacquiring these chests? It's going to really bother me until I get this achievement done...
