Complete Support Chronomancer Rotation Guide Collection (STM, Wells, Condi)

    Posted: 12 Nov 2020 01:23 AM PST

The past few weeks I have been working tirelessly on updating rotation guides for the commonly used Chronomancer builds, Consisting of Greatsword STM, Focus STM, Inspiration STM, Double Wells and Condition Chronomancer. Full Playlist

    Greatsword STM

Greatsword STM is commonly used along with Focus STM To Provide High DPS along with Quickness in Squads Running Alacrigade. Greatsword is a great starter STM build to play as it has very high clone generation which makes quickness extremely easy to maintain. Written Rotation

    Sword/Focus STM

Focus STM is frequently used to provide quickness in squads running Alacrigade. This build has similar DPS to Greatsword STM with the benefit of having access to an AoE pull on focus and higher burst DPS. This build however has lower clone generation and can be slightly more difficult to maintain quickness with. Written Rotation

    Inspiration STM

Inspiration STM is a great choice if tanking as chronomancer in an Alacrigade Group. It has access to multiple distorts and group aegis which is beneficial to block Knockback/Knockdown attacks such as on Deimos and Gorseval. Having Signet of Inspiration also allows the Alacrity ren to drop boon duration and gear to be more offensive. This build also has higher survivability than the other STM builds due to having the ability to block with shield. Written Rotation

    Double Wells

Double Wells is a slightly older build, often used by groups that prefer to run with two chronomancers providing both quickness and alacrity. This build has the same survivablility and benefits as Inspiration STM, with slightly less DPS, however is has the addition of generating Alacrity. Written Rotation

    Condition Support

Condition Support is a great build to tank Soulless Horror and Twin Largos Assassins on. It provides Both quickness and Alacrity to the group along with very high survivability due to frequent access to blocks through scepter and shield, along with having High Toughness and Vitality. This build has the benefit of maintaining high confusion stacks on a boss which is highly beneficial on Fast Hitting bosses. Written Rotation

    Credits

Thankyou to SnowCrows for providing and keeping up to date benchmarks and information on these builds, allowing me to produce in-depth rotation guides.

This day 7 years ago The Nightmares Within released, which allowed players to adventure into the Tower of Nightmares. Players could go into the tower for only a month until it was destroyed on December 10, 2013. Do you have any fun memories of this month-long event?

Any specific reason why this game mode isn't officialy implemented into the game? Seems like perfect mix of everything PvP in GW2 has to offer! Stil not sure what's player base opinion on it and curious to see what others people think..

A suggestion for MS and AB Passes

    Posted: 11 Nov 2020 12:51 PM PST

When choosing for a waypoint to teleport the options are major cities and LA Aerodrome. But one option should also be Eye of The North. Im fully aware strike missions are implemented much after both passes released but it'll be a much convenience for the players who use those passes. What do you guys think?

Edit: I felt like my explanation was vague. Im fully aware there is tome for that or you can wp there. What I'm trying to explain is how much *convenient* it would be for all players since VIP Passes are all about conveniences

    Need a new Mouse..

    Posted: 11 Nov 2020 07:13 PM PST

my mouse just broke.. so i'm in the market for a new one.. wondering what other Guild War 2 players use..

previously have the Naga MMO mouse..

I'm currently torn between - Logitech 502 HERO - Razer Naga Trinity

i'm leaning logitech, but not sure how much i will miss the button numpad on the MMO type mouse..

edit: i bought the G502 hero. i dont mind cables and i wasnt going to pay double the price for wireless .. so far so good... the only complaint was i cant install G Hub in a custom location..

in other news.. i have never had a complaint about razer products or software until now. as i was uninstalling razer.. it locked a folder because of some font and other stuff... i had to pull some tricks to remove it.. not cool razer.. not cool.

    burn DH for wvw zerging?

    Posted: 11 Nov 2020 08:44 PM PST

So i've been playing core power DPS for a bit but am interested in a burn DPS build (since this is what i play in pvp). I'm curious, is anyone having consistent success running burn DH in wvw zergs? from a theorycraft standpoint I think the prevalence of FBs and scrappers will make burns useless. personally i hardly take condi damage in zergs and i don't wanna invest in gear for a build that doesn't work

Macbook People - How Worth is Bootcamp?

    Posted: 11 Nov 2020 12:47 PM PST

Hey, so I know this topic has been brought up before and the advice in past threads has been that this game runs better on the windows client than mac. My main question to mac players who have experienced both is how much better is the mac vs. windows client on a Macbook Pro laptop? Windows 10 is so expensive (if anyone knows a place its on discount DM me..) and I'm hesitant to buy it and run windows on Bootcamp if the performance isn't significantly better. Is it a windows OS thing that makes the game run better or is it the gap in performance due to computer differences between Macbooks vs. other brands?

I have a Macbook Pro 13" 2019 with the following specs, if it helps:

It's a very recent model and I've got to say while I 100% was not expecting good performance I was not expecting the game to run like a powerpoint in some areas even after lowering graphic options. :/
