    Can we please talk about the lag on PoF/LW4-Maps again?

    TL;DR: Title just says it all. Lag is unbearable, makes it impossible to play.

    So today, as everyday, I logged on to my 2 characters placed at the platin spot in Thunderhead Keeps. I got used to the lags that last up to 10 seconds, sudden damage spikes, and dead enemies in front of my Reaper and Soulbeast.

    Today was different though: A commander popped up, looking for Ice Floe Meta. Had nothing better to do, so I helped. Worst decision I made today.

    THIS META IS LITERALLY UNDOABLE. We were 25 people, so more than enough i'd say. But the lag was horrible. Lags of 20 secs+. Imagine having to do some achievements on that map, or well just joining Guild Wars 2 and you BUY THAT EPISODE and what you get presented is ... this sh*t!

    This is a shame. a big f*cking shame for the Devs at Anet. I'm very happy that i'm through with all the LW4/PoF-Content, and that i don't have to enter this maps every again, cause this is literally unplayable.

    Good Luck with Steam release. While GW2-Veterans are enduring, steam people are not. Mostly negative reviews are the logical consequence.

    PSA: If you do LESS damage to trash mobs in the Labyrinth, you get MORE loot. I know it's counterintuitive, but you want to tag, not kill.

    Also leveled up the first mastery rank. It was a stresser. I'm convinced that the dev who implemented the "Jump up the Broken Tower in Blazeridge" part of the Fear essence is a monster but other than that, today was a good day. Obviously, I did that part a week or so ago.

    The general consensus regarding tot bags seems to be to sell them for max profit, but not yet having reached the max magic find, is it worth it to open them for luck? I'm at 150% magic find right now, so missing 150% to get to max as IO believe the max is 300%

    Greatest solo challenge?

    Having played FFXIV i set myself the challenge to get The Necromancer title, which requires you to complete 200 floors of a huge 5 man dungeon all by yourself, starting from floors 120-ish it gets so difficult it starts demanding you to have near perfect execution or perish, and all AoEs become one-shots. Those floors also start taking you almost the whole one hour of time you have to complete each set of 10 floors, you gotta do it all without dying or disconnecting.

    so... you know, that's fun, one day i'll get it, eventualy. But now with that said, is there anything similar in guild wars 2? being a necro i found out i can solo many, many things, so maybe there's something interesting i can take on myself and actualy have something nice to show that i achieved it?

    What's your experience with game support?

    First of all i want to say that i really like the game, i think Anet did an amazing job with it, i bought it and both expansions for me and my girlfriend (she really loves the game, much more than me) plus multiple things from the shop, i even have Aurene funko pop and 2 quaggan mugs.

    My only concern about the game is the game support.

    In my 8 years of playing i contacted it just 4 times for different things and their reply was always "We cannot help you" or something that looked like a prewritten reply.

    I just want to share with you one of my problems.

    I had an account name that Anet didn't like (believe me it was nothing special) so they changed it to something i really dislike and makes zero sense.

    Ok i'm fine with that, accept it, and politely ask to change it to something i can chose.

    Their reply was that is impossible to change it.

    I was really confused, they just pressed a button to change it and now they are saying that is impossible to change.

    All i am saying is that i don't see the same quality in the game and in the support.

    From my point of view the game is amazing while the support is incredibly disappointing.

    Do you have different experiences?

    Winning matches in Silver is a lot harder than winning matches in Gold.

    Spoiler: I'm not the best in PvP and only know how to play my thief well. Other classes, I'm clueless.

    I was in gold before deciding I want to go for the Ascension and playing several other classes. Now I'm in mid-silver. Holy hell are the bots/afk accounts so rampant here.

    It's like impossible to find a match which is 6 actual players. I'd rather wait 5 minutes for a fair match rather than being paired up with a guardian bot and afk revenant on my team.

    strategy doesn't exist in Silver. You need to play around the bot's playstyle otherwise it's going to be 2v3 real quick.

    What gives ANet?

    Anything affecting ATM's drop rate?

    I've seen several people get 3 bat wings in 45 minutes, and I've always only average 1 every two hours or more. Is this normal? Is there anything I can do it increase this? To all of you trying, how often do you find them?

    PvE dailies should not include HoT/PoF dailies until you have actually started playing the related expansion.

    The system is already able to give different dailies to different players depending on whether they own no expansion, one, the other one, or both. Re-use those sets of dailies so that new players who are still progressing through the game have dailies that they can actually complete (and without feeling forced to rush to unlock expansion maps).

    edit (+9 hours) : this is a suggestion, not a call for a solution for my own dailies (btw I maxed them years ago on 2 accounts). I'm fully aware of pvp/wvw achievements. Talking about PvE dailies being out of place. Those are supposed to direct/suggest players to do things out of their way. Anet made it specificially so people who can't go into HoT or PoF (no matter if they can wvw/pvp, no matter if there is only 1 expansion daily like some people claim) don't have related dailies, it only makes sense that people who haven't reached this content can also get 4 PvE dailies in the maps they're actually playing (core, core+hot, core+pof).
