    While you farm lab running around with your brain turned off. If you see the mount race is starting, wait until the race actually starts and next time you swing by mid, talk to the npc.. go through a single gate and continue your farm back in mid. Even though you don't finish the race it's enough to count for participation and you get a Large Candy Bag when it finishes.

    Sunqua Peaks instance bug, impossible to complete final boss without resetting instance

    When the bug hits, you'll notice that the tornado updraft phase of the final boss becomes impossible. Even if you do all 8 updrafts parts, she'll still keep channeling her attack which WILL go off. Then, she immediately begins channeling the attack again without respawning the 8 updrafts.

    So the fight is stuck on an endless loop of her dropping red lightning circles on everyone, then blowing up the arena, then repeating.

    I'm not sure what exaaactly causes this bug, but I know that sometimes a party wipe can trigger it. The bug is never active on a fresh instance.

    Its happened to me a few times now and I'd rather just skip fractals on a day where Sunqua is the daily until its fixed :/

    I wouldn't mind if it were a shorter fractal, but having to redo 15-30 mins of progress just for a chance at a not-bugged boss is really demoralizing...

    I tried reporting this in-game, but there were no categories pertaining to fractals. I had to file it under something random like Open-World -> NPC's

    Has anyone else noticed this bug? Some of the players in my groups said they've seen it pretty regularly and some have never seen it. Are the devs aware of this issue?

    tl;dr: sunqua final boss storm cloud split phase gets stuck on loop sometimes after a wipe, requires instance restart to fix

    PSA: PrivateInternetAccess VPN Bans

    Hi all,

    My account just got 180-day banned for using the PIA VPN. This is verified via me contacting support who said my account was terminated for running add-ons (only other addons I used was the dx12 mod + arcDPS).

    As such, just wanted to let you know not to use the VPN. :(

    Hello everyone! I use to host these events all the time. But life has been life. But I felt that it was time to do another one! So we'll see what we see!

    The Pilgrimage across Tyria: Is a Central Tyria social event hosted by Me (Brother Drake) and my guild Chains of Duty Role Play Guild [RPcd] This event is open to anyone interested. We'll be doing most of the Central Tyrian maps. This is open to Free to play, Old players, and New. It is NOT 100% map completion its more around 65-85% of each map we do. Example we don't do the hearts mostly due to time constraints. I'll be leading it on Foot. (Brother Drake) So you can bring mounts/Gliders if you so choose. Or not! October 17th 9 am PDT/ 10 am MDT/ 11 am CDT/ 12 pm EDT/ 5 pm UTC. Metrica, Caledon, Brisban, Kessex's, Queens, Gendaren, Lornars, Snowden, Frost Gorge, Fireheart, Iron Marches, Blazeride, Fields or Ruin (Small Portion). Then we'll stop at Ebon Hawke. Second Half October 18th 9 am PDT/ 10 am MDT/ 11 am CDT/ 12 pm EDT/ 5 pm UTC. Fields of Ruin, Blazeride (Small Portion), Plains of Ashford, Diessa, Wayfarer, Dredgehaunt, Timeberline, Maelstrom, Straits, Malchors, Cursed. Then we'll stop at Gates of Arah.

    Please be aware this event is Role Play friendly. So you will see people talking In Character. Its mostly easy going stuff... Mostly. To those in Australia, New Zealand, remember that your ahead of the (N.A.) by about a day! So our Friday is your Saturday! So, Saturday when we start is your Sunday! I think that's right? Please correct me if I am wrong. We do take a break every 2-3 hours, for about 15 minutes. Mostly for my Sanity. We normally take them in major cities or nice rest spots. How do you find the group? You can look for us in the LFG tab, Whisper Brother Drake, etc. I believe that's everything!

    Minor PSA: Unbound Magic Harvesting Blast (sickle) is no longer needed to gather multiple times in a single strike.

    This change was made back sometime in the March update (wasn't listed), but other tools harvesting sickles now gather 4 times in a single strike. Making the Unbound Magic Harvesting Blast not as time efficient. I personally have not tested the karma or limited tools (assume they work as well) I have also tested the limited use items and they do the same thing as well. Other ones like thresher-sickle or consortium sickle gather 4 times in 1 interaction and is much much faster.
