| Posted: 30 Jun 2020 09:17 PM PDT Here are some new Warrior and Ranger builds to play around with, if you're tired of running the Derv/Mes/Rit meta. Hammer/Axe/Scythe Warrior: 12+3+1 Strength, 11 Earth Prayers, 5 Hammer Mastery, 3 Axe Mastery, 3 Scythe Mastery
This build can AoE KD-lock everything by alternating the Axe and Hammer AoE attacks with Yeti Smash. Cast Aura of Thorns mid-Yeti Smash to satisfy the condition requirement. Use the Scythe for extra numbers, use Renewing Smash for extra single-target damage, and switch to Axe to charge adrenaline faster. Dagger/Hammer/Sword Warrior: 12+3+1 Strength, 11 Dagger Mastery, 5 Hammer Mastery, 4 Swordsmanship
Use the basic dagger chain and weave adrenaline skills in between while waiting for them to recharge. Auspicious Blow and zealous weapons give you enough energy. Full combo can be something like Yeti Smash -> Jagged Strike -> Fox Fangs -> Death Blossom -> Falling Lotus Strike -> Gash -> Death Blossom. To switch weapons quickly, I recommend binding the hotkeys for your weapon slots to V, B, N, M. Then after an attack, you press Q or E to strafe and animation cancel, then switch weapon slot with your thumb, then use the next attack skill. Zealous Vow Bow: (yes that's a Derv elite) 12+3+1 Marksmanship, 10+2 Expertise, 8 Wind Prayers
Preparations waste too much time, and elite bow attacks aren't that worth it in PvE, so why not use the Derv elite for energy. You can use Concussion Shot liberally to spread daze, which also guarantees the bonus damage from Sloth Hunters Shot. The other bow attacks give you more damage and some AoE capabilities as well. Note that you don't need to cast Zealous Vow immediately when going into a fight, since you have enough energy with 12 Expertise to last a bit. Let your teammates soak up the enchantment removal first. [link] [comments] | ||
