    Prophecies Play-through group

    We have about 7-10 people for a prophecies campaign playthrough group.

    We are looking for a few more people to join up.

    We will be doing the prophecies campaign and then who knows... we might do the others too. We are starting from pre-searing and plan on using all player controlled parties (no henchies, no heroes whenever possible).

    ​

    We meet 2x nights (PST) per week.

    ​

    For the 4 and six player missions, if we get everyone in our group going at once, we will split off into squads. Its nice to have a few extra people! I'd rather do a mission twice than not have enough to do it once.

    class Usefulness ranking?

    I was wondering what some peoples opinion on how the classes stack up in overall usefulness. Like can I take X class to these places but not those places, can class Y only really go to these places if they are getting carried. That sort of thing.
    I'm relatively new to the game and don't have a full roster of each class and was wondering what would be the biggest bang for the buck so to speak in terms of leveling time spent.

    VQ and Elite Areas as monk - need some build ideas

    I've seen a post a couple of days ago with ideas for fun Ele Builds and I would like the community to help me find new and interesting builds for a monk.

    Right know I'm playing a healer with an offensive Merc Setup, but I switch it depending on my mood to either a Spirit Spammer or the - as I like to call it - "Saul D'Alessio build", which is Mantra of Inscription and just a bunch of signets. And while both are fun to play, there is not much variety - which I came to expect with a Monk.

    I've yet to play an Active Prot build, as I want it to revolve around Zealous Benediction, but I can't decide if I go the utility route with more Hex and Condition removal or the enchantment route with Aegis, Guardian and such.

    So for those of you who vanquished and played through elite areas as a monk with 7 Heroes/Mercenaries, would you show me your builds, please.

    Is it still possible to start PvP as a new player ?

    Hello, I recently created a new character in GW1, I'm not yet max level or gear-optimized, but I plan on trying the PvP once I get there, is it possible to PvP as a new player ? Or is the player base so old and experienced that I will just die again and again without any chances of winning ? Also, as I started only few days ago, I couldn't get the 10 years anniversary weapon, are they "over powered", or can I "win" without them ? And is EotN "required" to have a competively viable character ?
