| Posted: 05 Jun 2020 10:43 AM PDT Recently this post made me realize I didnt know what was being depicted in skill icons: So i went through all the high resolution skill icons and identified which ones i grossly misinterpreted. didnt realize that most faces post-prophecies were actual photographs (i dont like the art style for most of such skill icons). anything else you guys have misinterpreted for the past 15 years? crippling anguish being just a kneeling mad shattered my mind. it is perhaps the most common skill in the whole game. psychic instability is probably the most outrageously ridiculous misinterpretation i had. you can find the list of high res skills here: backbreaker: always thought this was a man holding a rock above his head, about to smash someone (presumable in the back) troll unguent: always thought this was a wooden plate with an ankh carved onto it. makes no sense, but thats what my eyes saw. reaper's mark: thought it was a weird statue of liberty with a conical right arm lifted up. (thought the arm was a head, and the head was an arm) backfire: never realized there was a man getting force lightninged. i always thought it was a crack in a piece of rock that was getting struck by lightning. clumsiness: didnt realize it was a human being. always thought it was some weird spectre like a mindblade. crippling anguish: didnt realize it was a human being. i... i simply saw some random dabs of purple and turquoise... it's made even more ridiculous by the fact that this is perhaps the most common elite skill in the entire game. somewhere around 80% of all mesmer mobs across all 4 games have this skill as their elite. this skill might very well have been the most common hex used against me. i had no idea. fragility: didnt realize there was a human face within the shattered glass. psychic instability: always thought this was someone doing the italian hand gesture where you bring together all 5 fingers. didnt realize it was a person holding the back of her head. flame burst: thought this was a person's naked back, with a bright flaming tatoo tenai's heat: see psychic instability. thought this was someone doing the italian hand gesture with a flaming coal inside the lattice formed by the hands... critical defenses: i thought it was a man under a blanket flashing blades, fox fangs, death blossom: thought these were weird claws. this is by design, im pretty sure. I was going to upload an image but then I realized I could only upload one, so I'll do my best to explain this as accurately as possible. I am currently using Texmod with the completed map from the wiki and can't seem to get 3 chunks. 1) West / South-West of Altrumm Ruins/ House zu Heltzer 2) North of Bai Paasu Reach 3) West of leviathan Pits (This one is a little strange as it's just like pan handle that I can't seem to get) I'd honestly appreciate any and all help in regards to this seemingly impossible question!! 😂😂💪🏼 [link] [comments] | ||

Of course the game already gave us GWAMM and the 50/50 to work towards, but I think there is more than that. Off the top of my head, I can think of the following that are separate achievements, and unrelated to a any title or HoM statue:

In both lists, I am looking for input to make these lists as complete as possible, which is why I am making this post. :) For clarity, I would like to avoid listing achievements that are purely based on community challenges (e.g. the various types of Ironman challenges) or collections (e.g. having a req 8 version of each possible item). Posted: 05 Jun 2020 08:18 AM PDT Trying to complete the end of Proph on my new warrior, and the past 3-4 days, each time I fire up Guild Wars my ping looks good and stable, I'm not downloading anything in the background, but I'm skipping around getting horrible rubberbanding and lag behavior. Other online games (GW2, notably) are not having any of the same lag-related issues for me. Has anyone else experienced these sorts of issues in the past few days? [link] [comments] | ||
| Posted: 05 Jun 2020 05:47 AM PDT hey i just got my female ranger a white obby armor, and i wonder what itemsets ( bow, sword+shield, scythe etc.) look the best if dyed white currently i have eblade+ eshield ( cant be dyed but fits rly good with the white obby) + bds i have a silverwing bow atm but its dyed black since white looks meh. i have 2 spots left which i wanted to be a bow / scythe or another sword+shield doesnt matter to me if is an expensive skin or a cheap one aslong as it looks rly good. budget 450a [link] [comments] |
