| Nostalgia Trip and Coming Back Posted: 27 Mar 2020 01:00 AM PDT I've been on a huge 2000s nostalgia kick and was thinking of getting back into Guild Wars 1. Years ago I was an idiot and deleted my dervish with elite sunspear armor and favorite scythe skin (gazing scythe). That, and my ranger with norn armor and a storm bow (such stupid decisions). So, I'm going to remake my dervish and grind to get that armor and scythe back! I don't really where or know how to grind for money, but I'd be grateful for any advice. I'd also love to rectify 2011 Me's Horrible Day where I was hacked and the hacker decided to salvage the chaos gauntlets I received from a friend. Why they did that, I do not know. Anyhow, thanks! | Posted: 26 Mar 2020 06:21 PM PDT As title says I just reopened the game after years of not using it Went to open TB - the following happened: TB tried to update "Error checking for updates (1)" "GWToolbox ++ Clientside Error Detected. Please restart guild wars and try again." i've tried running all as administrator, none as administrator, a combination of it i've tried uninstalling GW completely and reinstalling, as well as both the old version of GWTB i had from years ago, as well as the new one i'm running a virtual machine running Windows 7, dedicated for GW, i dusted it off just to run GW again, but TB won't run anyone can help? paging /u/haskha/, maybe you can help (thanks so much for the tool and continued development over the years) [link] [comments] | ||
| The full routing for a no-death GWAMM run with a Warrior Posted: 26 Mar 2020 11:36 AM PDT In the search for a new challenge in a game I know by heart, I've been inspired by the No-death GWAMM posts (by /u/CataphractGW/ and /u/NajaSeda for instance) to do the challenge myself. And since I like to plan things ahead, I've been working for a while on a full routing for my run. A complete route for a No-death GWAMM warrior character, starting from Nightfall. — Can I use this? Of course! You will need to make quite a few changes if you want to play another profession/campain however. — How do I use this? Just follow the columns. Write "1" instead of "0" in column A as you progress and it will change things in the other pages. — Is this the best route? I tried my best, but planing several hundred hours of gameplay, I probably missed something. — Is this IronMan? No. I will use the full resources of my account, heroes, and I will probably use Pcons in difficult part (Slaver's HM for instance). — Are you missing anything? I only have one account-wide title. Which means, I will have to farm a bit, either for another account-wide or alcohol/sweets. — Why don't you start in Pre to get LdoA? A friend has a Prophecies account linked to his GW2 account and we were wondering what would happen if we buy a The Complete Collection key. Would he have to create a new account or can he update his existing Prophecies account to The Complete Collection? As far as I'm aware there's no way to obtain these armor sets with the Nightfall-unique professions. Does this mean maxing the HOM is impossible for Dervish/Paragon characters? I went to House zu Heltzer and they won't even speak to me. Do I just need to up my points with the Kurzick for a while for this to work? Thank you in advance. [link] [comments] |
