    Making a Gw2 sPvP League

    Gw2 sPvP League (NA)

    I'm starting up a Discord based mid-tier sPvP league. This is not a Tournament, nor a guild, but rather a season based League.

    We're hoping to make teams of silver-gold, maybe plat1, players. Our goal is to start our first season with four teams, 20-24 players. You don't have to join as a team, solo applicants will be placed on a team during team creation. However, players of all ranks are encouraged to join us in the discord. Being the first season, we are listening for input as to how the community would like it to be carried out, and how to set the rules, etc.

    Right now we're looking at making the first season a two month season, with one scheduled game a week for the first 6 weeks. This will be 3 games per team through those six weeks. Then two weeks of playoffs.

    I'm also looking for people who are interested in helping out to become staff/admins. The goal in creating this league is to build excitement for Gw2 sPvP within the larger community, and to foster engagement with 5v5 competitive play outside of the highest tiers.

    Huge ping and disconnects

    Am i the only one experiencing these things last 3 days?

    My guildmates told me they have high ping aswel, but nobody told about discinnects.

    Everything (internet related) else works fine

    Hey,

    I need to do some achievements to get Aurora, for example the achievement "Lessons Learned" which requires me to find a whole bunch of recordings. Does anyone know whether there is a gw2taco pack that shows their locations? I have the most up to date version of the All In One pack but its not there ;(

    Considering playing GW2 after not playing several years

    Hi guys!

    Because of my PC, I stopped playing GW some time after Living story debuted. At first, I was trying to at least log-in in order to get the content, but that ended quickly.

    I'm now considering to start playing again, because I have the opportunity, and i loved those jumping puzzles, also my pink mesmer was quite a bite of fun.

    Since everything was so long ago, I'm quite overwhelmed and confused, so would greatly appreciate if you help me out.

    Is there a way to play GW story from start to finish, and the living story part? Do I need to purchase all the expansions in order to do it? Are there any perks for buying the game before it went F2P? Are there any good deals I could look forward to? What's the best way to get up to speed?

    I mostly enjoyed PvE and solo content, with a dab of area events, if that makes any difference.

    I can't find an npc for my quest, first time playing this game

    I tried posting on the GW2 forum, but apparently I need to purchase an expansion to do so, I hope it's okay to ask here. I'm playing out the Sylvari quests, currently doing 'Where Life Goes' -> https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Where_Life_Goes

    To begin, I need to speak with Caithe at Dreamer's Terrace. I followed the green icon, got the the Rata Sum and now I'm in front of this massive pink portal, which tells me I need lvl 35 to enter. But this is lvl 20 mission. What am I missing?

    The PoF map Vabbi has been a huge clusterfuck of monster lags for a year now and it's not getting better. Doing a meta on this map is like rolling dice.

    Do we have ANY information on that? I remember Anet way back when saying, that they're working on the servers and it may come to some lags somewhere, but I'm pretty sure that the guys that got thrown into the server dungeon have been decomposed to skeletons by now, so it's most likely not "server works" anymore.

    [Question] What do I miss in not having Living Stories except for the Lore?

    Just bought the ultimate edition and contemplating if I should buy the living world stories.

    My question is, is it worth it? I am not really into stories and lore, it's fine but not really a game changer and I am ok watching playthroughs. Reason I am asking is to save more gems to buy different stuff from the gem store.

    So....what do i miss except for the Lore (like items, critical masteries, achievements? etc?) if I dont have:

    1. Living World 2

    2. Living World 3

    3. Living World 4

    Another question, If I really need to have a Living World story for the sake of items, masteries, achievements, mounts? etc,. what would be the most critical of the 3 available?

    Am i the only one who wish they just combined the raid and strike lobby?

    This division is insane... Honestly i see people who raid in lion arch aero and strike on w.e new map that is. If they could have just combine both in a single looby maybe people could interact with each other.. I know alot of strike players who dont raid. But idk why anet is soo passionate on dividing players even in pve. We already have a division on pvp wvw and pve. And pve still has more divisoon

    Profession most similar to jedi

    Hey guys, I need some advice.

    I recently got my engineer to lvl 80 and by selecting holomancer elite spec basically got a lightsaber. With that in mind, I made a new asura character and would like to make him as similar as yoda, but don't know which profession to take.

    I was thinking ranger, going into druid at 80, it seems perfect. But can I still have reliable sword damage, since druid is a healing spec? Don't really want my yoda to stay back and have no fighting chance. :/

    ADVICE? What to choose between 2 professions

    Im torn between engineer or thief, I like Engineer style but im afraid its complicating me too much and ill underperform, while in thief i like the burst but i find it pretty lacking. Which class do you prefer and why?
