    Secondary class for a Derwish

    Posted: 27 Feb 2020 07:12 PM PST

Hey. I returned to the game after many years, and after playing a Prophecies character since a few days, I want to create one for Nightfall (since I really liked the entire campaign there). I plan to make a Dervish since it was the only character I ever played through the entire story of NF with, and I had a lot fun with it back then. I believe I had an elementary mage as secondary, and was using earth magic to get a bit more defense back then. So I thought about it first, but I don't really know much about how the game changed in the last decade, so it may not work as good as it did in the past (For example, my old E/M nuker probably wouldn't work as good as in the old days anymore, since enemies seem to run away from aoe's nowadays)

So what would you guys recommend as a decent secondary class for a Dervish? I need a bit of inspiration here :D

If it helps with your recommendations, I usually play PvE on my own. So only having a few heroes with me.

Cold as Ice Quest - Dervish

    Posted: 28 Feb 2020 05:26 AM PST

Hey everyone, I have been going through EOTN for the first time and have been struggling hard with this quest. I am a D/W With very little secondary skills but a lot of dervish skills. Does anyone know any builds for beating this as a dervish? MY guildies/Alliance say to go D/Rit and do a SoS build but I do not have enough platinum and gold to change profs and buy all the skills right now.

I know I have it as dervish but others could be having difficulty with this quest to if people want to toss any other builds they know work for other classes too.

    Thanks

    Guild Wars Complete Collection

    Posted: 27 Feb 2020 04:00 PM PST

    Hi,

I'm looking at going back to play a full Guild Wars playthrough including the expansions. I have played before but only have the base game. I'm looking at getting the Hall of Monuments for Guild Wars 2. I have seen the Complete Collection on offer and i was wondering if i get this then add it to my account, would it still work with my old characters or would it be a new account i would have to link to my Guild Wars 2? Only because it i have a few things on my original characters that would give me a head start for the Hall of Monuments.

Also any advice/tips welcome for the HoM play through, ive got a couple handy guides to follow.

    R/W Ironman?

    Posted: 27 Feb 2020 11:55 AM PST

Hi! I recently joined this sub and it got me back into re-experiencing my childhood in GW. I noticed there's an ironman challenge going on, and figured I'd try it myself. I wanted to do an axe ranger build because I've always felt they were fun.

I decided on going through the campaigns in order, and just started - currently being in Old Ascalon. I did as much as I could in Pre to make my life a little easier, and I was curious as to what could be a good Axe Ranger build? I'd prefer to have a pet as that's the reason I chose ranger, but it's not necessarily required.

Back when I played, I was never good with builds and still wouldn't consider myself particularly good with them due to the sheer amount of skills there are, so if anyone has any suggestions for a solo run axe ranger, it'd be appreciated!

Is there anyway to keybind with maj+ / ctrl+ ?

    Posted: 27 Feb 2020 09:14 AM PST

    Hey guys,

I am back to guildwars and was wondering if there was anyway to keybind using maj and ctrl (ex: ctrl+e, ctrl+1, etc).

How people manage hero skills without a lot of keybinds is a mystery to me.

(I know maj+1/6 is keybinded to chat so maybe there is a possibility I am not aware of.)

Thank you for your time :)

EDIT : Because it seems I wasn't very clear, what I want is to be able to cast spell A with " 1 " and spell B with " ctrl+1".
