    Make the Roller beetle races Guild Missions

    The roller beetle races found under "side stories" in achievements are really fun! They are well made and some require serious grinding to get gold. However, they are almost never a race because no one else is around to race you. They would be great guild missions!

    Perhaps 10 laps across the guild = 1 commendation. If someone gets gold, everyone gets 1 bonus commendation?

    Kicked out of T2 Siren's Reef

    So I was just playing today's T2 fractals with a random group just as everyday. The first one went well, we finished easily. Continuing with Siren's Reef we had no problem reaching the final boss, too, but that was where our problems began.

    We wiped two times with the boss around 30-40% health and after the second wipe one player told me to cc clear with my staff, and that I don't know how to play revenant. I was kinda confused, because if I'm correct there isn't a single defiance bar in the final boss fight, right? he tried to kick me but no one voted for it, so we continued. I tried my best to keep the red circles away from the group and share the damage with the other one, know how to dodge most aoes and try to keep my buffs on the team for as long as possible. After 2 more wipes the guy votes to kick me again and this time I was kicked for real.

    Is there something I was missing? I am kinda new to fractals after a multi-year long break, but I learn pretty fast in general and I definitely try to break every defiance bar asap, that's what my staff is for when needed. I play the fractal hybrid build from discretize, still working on some of the gear but overall I am pretty close to it, I do fractals daily and never had a group that couldn't finish the fractals after a maximum of 1 wipe, sometimes we even had members who where constantly dead and we still managed to finish, no one was kicked and it was in general a good experience.

    Also, is it really the fault of a single person if a group can't finish a T2 fractal? those really aren't the hardest fights and I have had a pretty easy time playing them in pugs before, and I am usually one of the players who go down the least amount of times in my teams.

    just want to know your opinion because if there's something to work on, I'm surely going to do that!

    Questions from a newb who wants to start playing

    Hey, guys, I'm thinking about starting to play in gw2 and have few questions for ya:

    1. I have only 2-3 hours of spare time every day, how many time it will take to cap 1 class?
    2. What class can you advise to play for a new player and how is it viable in both pvp. A little tier list with explanation, pros/cons will be very appreciated
    3. Is it very party dependent or I can close any activity playing solo?
    4. What full city exploration gives? Should I spend the time in it? Off the top of my head, that's all the questions I got. Thank you in advance!

    Title is it. Played GW1 through every expac, played a tiny bit of GW2 at launch but was caught up in WoW and it didn't hook me.

    Looking to get in to it again, but I'ma be hecka lost in the sauce. Are there any good video guides or written ones for someone coming in with basically no knowledge of the game?

    Can I get a mount without using the lvl 80 boost?

    I read that if I party with a lvl 80 & they enter the path of fire instance, & we complete it I can get the mount without using my lvl 80 boost. Does this still work?

    "If you own Path of Fire, but are not yet level 80, you can still unlock the raptor mount without using your level 80 boost by having another level 80 player run you through the "Sparking the Flame" story instance. (Just travel with them in a party to Lion's Arch, and have them replay that story mission) "

    Im I the only one who likes the pvp changes?

    I want to start off by saying that I'm a rev main and have been for 2 years, and in the first time in a while I'm having a blast. I can have fun in ranked with multiple rev builds like mallyx herald, power renegade, ventari renegade, and even core rev. Yes the patch kinda killed power rev but I'm no longer forced into 1 build when playing ranked. Also, the 2v2 mini seasons long over due but godsend. Having a lot of fun with those, thanks Anet.

    It's a really nice change of pace when I can actually brawl and not be insta focused all the time. Even in Plat, the 2v2s feels drawn out and epic at times. I came from games like SWTOR and BnS that have little to no damage on CC, so I always found it weird that I can one shot a thief with executioner scythe. It's implied in the skill name but a CC nonetheless.

    Also mallyx being meta poggers
