    So I was digging arround why my fps was so bad with this game, I have changed a lot of settings without great success.

    Then I read somewhere about disabling Hyperthreading boosts FPS which for me personally sounded stupid . Why would 4core/8thread perform worse than 4core/4 thread.

    Guess what.

    I tryed it,disabled hyperthreading in BIOS and I got like 30% performance increase in the game...

    In the Charr main city i went from 50+ fps to 70+.

    Also in the Path of Fire continent I have played with a lot of shuttering and now it's also gone.

    So if You having the same issue like me or just want more fps try disabling hyperthreading.

    ​

    I7 7700 RX 580

    PSA: Glyph of the Timekeeper (which I believe) has an internal cooldown. Industry is still superior gathering speeds.

    Gathered already 20 nodes. Only went off once (which was the first time). If it were at 33% chance to finish gathering instantly it would have been at least 5-6 nodes. At this rate it's only 5%.

    I just hope this is a bug...

    Edit: After 5 minutes of gathering, it still only activated once. As soon as I moved the glyph to a different tool it worked again just for that one time, until I moved it to a different. However the internal cooldown still exists regardless of which tool you put it in. Seems to be at least over 2 minutes long.

    Significantly longer loading times

    Hi there,

    I have recently come back to GW2 from a 1-1,5 month long break. I stopped around the end of November and came back a few days ago and I've noticed that my loading times are 3-5 times longer.

    I have the game on an 970 Evo and usually had loading times from 1-7 seconds (except Lion's Arch ofc lol), depending on player count, and now they are as mentioned up to 5 times as long, so 5 seconds turn into around 20 seconds. Thankfully Lion's Arch "only" takes twice as long now (1 minute, instead of like 25-30 seconds).

    I haven't changed anything about my PC (neither hardware nor software). I haven't changed my GW2 settings at all. I have a vanilla GW2 installation, no ArcDPS, d912pxy or anything like that. I also don't run the game with any command line paramters, except for the one that enables me to take screenshots as .bmp (but I already tried it without it). I haven't installed anything on the 970 Evo and it also hasn't changed in benchmarks.

    I don't know what is going on. Has anybody else noticed a change with the loading times?

    All I wish for Build Tenplates at this point is that the current gear doesn't "take a template slot". So that if you change a weapon or a few pieces of current gear, the template stay unaltered.

    So that when activating a build template, your current gear simply copies the equipment from the template and sets it active, instead of making that template your current gear.
    That also means that to change a template you have to specifically go to its page, instead of being able to change it from inventory when equipping stuff.

    Hi, long time GW2 player here. I started right when it came out, maxed out my guardian and necro and played all the way up until PoF til I got kinda burned. Thinking about coming back especially because I hear there's capes in the game (I know, I'm a sucker for cosmetics) and I'd like to see the direction this MMO is going in, especially because it's the only one I feel I can always come back to. What're all your thoughts on it?

    I'm trying to reset my password but I keep getting redirected to a completely blank white screen. I've attempted this with different browsers and devices... So how am I supposed to reset my password?

    And of course, somebody downvotes your post asking for help.

    Hi redditors, I'm fairly new to the gw2 game and comunity and I have much to learn. But atm I'm wondering what's the purpose of legendary pvp and wvw armor other than skins? As far as I know, the stats in pvp and wvw are standardised and only the skill mathers. What's the deal though? (Haha dildo) And sorry if my question is dumb, thank you
