Fractals of the Mists is an endgame content and it deserves a way to get 32 slot version of:

It would be great uses for Golden Fractal Relics.

How would you design the recipe?

    My favorite is:

32 Slot Fractal <Rarity> Equipment Box

28 Slot Fractal <Rarity> Equipment Box

24 Slot Fractal <Rarity> Equipment Box

    • 10x Integrated Fractal Matrix
    • 1x Golden Fractal Relics
    • 1x Supreme Rune of Holding
    • 2x 20 Slot Fractal <Rarity> Equipment Box

      Total cost : 950 Fractal Relic + 300 Stabilizing Matrix + 12 Golden Fractal Relics + 12 Supreme Rune of Holding + 25s 20c + 2 20 Slot Fractal <Rarity> Equipment Box

Gw2 Launchbuddy 2.1 Release - Not over til we say so

    Posted: 08 Jan 2020 11:31 AM PST

The project LB supporters on patreon and via paypal made it possible!

After about 6 months of patreon exclusivity Version 2.1 is here with its new features!

    What the hell is Launchbuddy?:

Gw2 Launchbuddy is a free open source 3rd Party software which tries to squieze every little option of hidden or hard to use setting out of the Gw2 Launcher. Multiboxing, Quick Settings setup, Serverselection, bringing back the old beta launcher... all in one totally TOS friendly software.

There are also easy to follow video tutorials out there! -> Click here

    Whats new?:

-Developers can now program their own plugins for Launchbuddy. This way LB can reach itsfull potential with features provided by YOU the community! On top of that Launchbuddy also offers almost all gameclient control functions like: Suspend, launch, focus, switch, respositioning window, resizing window... All these plugins are also Virus checked, updated and managed for you automatically.

You are a developer and interested? Go to the official github repository to have a look at the wiki and an allready premade PluginTemplate to get you started!

    - Admin Rights are now optional. In order to provide mutliboxing LB had to change its way of dealing with the Local.dat file of the game (-email -password got disabled by Anet). Sadly this way requires additional rights on a windows pc. Therefore LB forced the user to run it as admin in the past which is now gone! You can now either use windows developer mode (instructions are provided when you start LB) OR use LB with admin rights.

    - Gw2 cache folders can eat up a lot of memory if not deleted regulary. Launchbuddy now automatically keeps track of your cache folders and deletes outdated ones to keep your pc clean.

    - GameInstance UI overhaul. The game instance management UI is one of the most used features of LB. Therefore it now got overhauled to reduce size with new animations and functions.

    - Accountinformation tracking. LB now keeps track of accounts last log ins and playtime... These informations are currently displayed in the "Home" menu but will be expanded on in the future.

    - Fixed a bug in which network settings were not applied properly

    - Fixed a bug in which the "Waiting for Gw2 Update" window would not disappear after a game update.

    - And all the features I actually forgot to note down :P

For a list of changes between 1.9.3 and 2.1 please visit https://github.com/TheCheatsrichter/Gw2_Launchbuddy/compare/1.9.3...master

    Direct Download:

EDIT: 2.1 IS CURRENTLY DELAYED TILL 09.01.2020 22:00 GMT BECAUSE OF A BUG. Please be patient !If you want to use an old version which will get updated automatically when the error is resolved please go here.

If you insist on the buggy version 2.1- > Then please use this link and report any bugs.

    EDIT2: Changed upload provider.

To get early access to the newest versions / exclusive prereleases of Launchbuddy please visit the patreon page.

Thanks again to you guys, the community who made and still are making this project possible!

As always report bugs, give feedback and pet your dogs and cats!

[question/technical issue] Weird latency issues exclusive to GW2

    Posted: 08 Jan 2020 09:50 PM PST

Happened only a day ago, I started getting super terrible latency problems. Usually it holds at 280 (aussie on na server Maguuma) but lately it's been around 400 and shoots up to 1.7-4k intermittently, needless to say it's un-bloody-playable.

I tested other games to make sure this wasn't just me and WoW on NA (east and west) are perfectly fine however Risk of Rain with canadian mates is also scuffed, CS:GO is also running into no problems.

    Did something happen?

Please add songs from Factions soundtrack to Lunar New Year!

    Posted: 08 Jan 2020 12:32 PM PST

One of the things that make festivals feel that much better is the great music that you only hear once a year during the festival. Guild Wars Factions soundtrack in my opinion is one of the best in any game i have ever played, and having some of the songs played in Divinity's Reach during the Lunar New Year festival would be a really nice touch. I would absolutely love to hear the Shing Jea Monastery or Kaineng Center soundtrack while exploring the Lunar New Year event.

Have smth happened with GW2 so it became more resource-consuming fo PC?

    Posted: 08 Jan 2020 12:15 PM PST

Long story short: i haven't played GW2 since the beginning of the spring (2019) and today i've finally log in just to find that the game literally kills my PC.

All graphic options are the same as they were when i cancel playing months ago, so nothing changed with PC, but game just... lagged so horrible.

As i remember i has some troubles but only on very crowded metas, but today i have to low my graphic options to minimum even to play Living World Story. Damn, even on the simple map with nobody around it was troubles with my "normal" graphic options.

So what the hell happened with GW2 while i was out of the game? (not only my problem, friend of mine also said that she has the same trouble since some updates).

What’s the best story in your opinion?

    Posted: 08 Jan 2020 11:41 AM PST

Hey! I'm a new player that is taking a break from SWTOR and thought I might give guild wars a try. If you know anything about SWTOR, you probably know about how good the story is. I played through just about every sylvari story up to 30 but want to try out a different race. What is the best story in your opinion.

Also, which stories were your least favorite?

    Edit: Added the second question.

ArenaNet's new game... for a console?

    Posted: 09 Jan 2020 02:10 AM PST

WoodenPotatoes covered what we know so far in his newest video: https://youtu.be/lOMxmh47mAs

I actually perceive it as a step in a good direction; i wouldn't mind a new PC game from the studio, but i'm not as negative about a console game as WP sounds.

Could it be a new title within the Guild Wars universe (whether GW3, being playable on PC and other platforms alike, or a spin-off), or something completely new and unrelated? I'd be excited about GW3, actually, and i'm not sure if i'd play it on PC or a console to be honest (provided the controls are OK on both, and some sort of GW2 -> GW3 legacy system is supported on both).

    How do you feel?
