    I posted here a few weeks ago talking about how I hadn't played in several years and wanted to get back into it but felt overwhelmed by all the new stuff and felt left behind. The positivity and support I received encouraged me to get back into the game and I've been having a great time! I've been working my way through LS2 (have to buy those episodes, though), and just spent my first day in the Silverwastes and successfully helped complete my first round of Silverwaste events! I did the jumping puzzle (I used to LOVE jumping puzzles), completed the map, beat the big boss with everyone else, and even earned two gold doing it all!

    Things I hope to accomplish:

    • Catch up on the LS (have to buy those episodes!)
    • Get a mount
    • Open up the rest of the map
    • Start working on the expansion stuff
    • Masteries! (Still not sure how to do those yet...)
    • And maybe start working on better gear

    I just wanted to thank everyone that encouraged me, everyone I played with during my return (whether directly partied or just other people doing the same events), and all of the GW2 community. It's great to be back and I hope to keep going! See you on there, everyone!

    Should Kodan have been a playable race instead of Norn?

    We already have Humans, and Norns are just basically big humans but with a different culture. To me, Kodans would have been a more interesting race to play as. I think it would also have made the game more unique.

    Hello Fellow Guild Wars 2 Music Players!

    (Check out the links at the bottom of the page for my other programs, including midi alternative and octave-skipless macro player.)

    I made a little script that allows people with laggy/high input-delay connections to play their in-game instruments through either the Music Box website or the Play Harp website or the Scratchpad website, while also having the notes be played in game. This allows you to play with virtually no delay and with the smoothness of these lag-free sites.

    Download Here! (requires AutoHotKey in order to work)

    Pause the application by pressing F1, Exit the application by pressing F2

    Ping spikes

    Hello. I started playing gw2 again like 1 month ago. At first it was fine but now I get these really huge ping spikes and rubber banding and pvp is unplayable. I tried everything, switching the port, VPN, reinstalling, updating drivers. I seem to have this problem only with gw2, my internet is fine. Anyone else having the same issues? Anet didn t really help me, I ve sent them a bunch of diagnostics and they say I have packet loss..
