Minor QOL suggestion: draw from material storage before bank Posted: 21 Nov 2021 11:08 AM PST This is a super minor thing, but depending on how the code it set up, it might be an easy fix, and maybe the team needs a 2-pointer to round out a sprint at some time or something. So: if my material storage is full of, say, ectos, and I've got more in my bank, if I'm crafting things using ectos I'd prefer those get pulled from material storage rather than the current behavior of pulling from my bank. That way, every time my material storage fills up with ectos I can just move a full stack into the bank and then I can use "deposit all materials" again. As it is, I need to find the partially-full stack in the bank, pull it into my inventory, grab a full stack from material storage, put that in my inventory, then put the full stack where the partial stack was in the bank, and then deposit materials, which gets old pretty quick. Few to Nobody is doing Twisted Marionette Posted: 20 Nov 2021 10:39 PM PST Before Halloween, people were doing the Twisted Marionette. It wasn't that active, but a person could join the Public Marionette at reset, the instance after reset, and the one after that with a fairly moderate to high chance of success. But then Halloween came. Everyone went to do the Mad Labyrinth, and the timing clashed with "The Mad King Says". People only did the Public Marionette instance at reset itself. Halloween has been over for a week now, and yet people STILL don't do the Public Marionette. I have tried, many times, to run a Public Marionette Instance, ferrying people from the Karka Queen timing to Public marionette. And most time it fails because many of the people are unfamiliar with the mechanics (especially for Lane 2). The issue bothers me a lot because this a world boss much like Dragonstorm, Tequatl, and TTT. It nets 2G. However, people are discouraged from doing the Marionette past reset. And when it comes to reset, you have to join fast, or you end up on the overflow, and people don't seem willing to advertise overflow. Its fairly irritating, because this was a public event I was enjoying until Halloween lessened interest in it. [link] [comments]

How Meta is the Mesmer? Solo Viability? Posted: 21 Nov 2021 01:24 PM PST New player, I rolled Necro because all my research concluded that Scourge was the best build for a solo player. Can do all content, solo big bosses etc. S Tier so to speak. However, it's not that fun for me. I've tried the rest and Mesmer is really fun!! My question is, how meta is the Mesmer? Will people want me for running dungeons etc? Will I be able to solo something close to as effectively as the Scourge? Will I be able to handle open world bosses solo like the scourge can? I know people can feel affronted by these types of questions but I like to play a strong build as I primarily solo and the OP power fantasy is fun :) [link] [comments]
Short, medium armor, fingerless gloves? Posted: 21 Nov 2021 11:21 AM PST Does anyone know of a medium armor skin that has short fingerless gloves? I'm currently using the rogue gloves with the fingers dyed close to my character's skin color, but you can tell they're not fingerless. Edit: For some reason it took everyone pointing it out for me to remember the bank wardrobe exists. 🤦♂️ Thank you all! [link] [comments]
I have a love hate relationship with the Skyscale Posted: 20 Nov 2021 12:57 PM PST Its one of my favorite mounts, and by far the most useful. Without it, I don't think I complete the Living World Return quests, no do I think I go back and work on map completions. It's also been super helpful hunting down the collection achievements for Aurora. But I can't help but think how badly it's invalidated almost all the other cool, and fun unique mounts I had. I mean, it's strictly better than the Springer in ever way. I'm struggling to ever find a use for the adorable bunny. The Griffon and Skimmer are occasionally useful, but like, the others, eh. I would use the Radial wheel addon, and since it didn't have a DX11 option, I kept toughing it out on DX9. But with the Skyscale, I never use any other mounts so I ditched the addon completely. Thoughts?? I sort of... miss the pre Skyscale days? [link] [comments]
What are your best guild events, competitions and contests? Posted: 21 Nov 2021 10:26 AM PST Per title, I've heard that some guilds have run some pretty amazing events in the past, and would like to hear about them for inspiration for events for my own guild :) [link] [comments] |
