Posted: 13 Sep 2021 06:37 PM PDT If you've capped heroic refrain on a different character can you learn it with an elite tome on a different one? I don't see the skill when I use the tome on my paragon. [link] [comments]

Posted: 13 Sep 2021 05:45 AM PDT Thanks to someone fundamentally not understanding a comment on another post I thought I'd explain this since it is pretty interesting. A single profession gwamm is totally possible and here is the process from start to finish, obviously if you have different trial keys it varies which campaigns you're going to buy but I will explain it the way I will be doing. What you will need Fresh account with proph factions and eotn, also skill unlock packs for all the games as well as all the elite tomes to fill up skill hunter. Nightfall trial code Also if you want you can also do ldoa for an extra title (and could have single prof ldoa in post once you finish the other steps) Preferred: mercenaries, since heroes will be limited. Step one, get to level 20, get your heroes or mercenaries, play the game as normal with a secondary. Use tomes to get every elite except nightfall only elites. Step two, use the nightfall cd trial code, you will have 14 hours which is more than enough time to finish out your tomes for elite skill hunter (IMPORTANT!! You must make sure you have /d or /p when the trial ends and for safe measure id zone out to another campaign) When you load back in after the trial you won't have access to nightfall anymore, because of this you're account doesn't have access to /d or /p and you will lose your secondary. You can easily gain it back by just clicking on a secondary in your hero tab, just like how it works for a pvp only character or a new hero and this is a one time deal so if you were to do this you would want to pic a profession that does good on its own merit or just finish all the content before you lose your secondary and finish nightfall content with a single. Fun side note, if you did this with a factions trial key this may be the only was left to get a nightfall character off of kamadan and have a single profession (via doing the same with a factions key after you've left docks) [link] [comments]
Returning player needing some advice Posted: 13 Sep 2021 11:47 AM PDT With the announcement of gw2's newest expansion coming out i wanted to come back and re-experience the story however it's been a solid 10+ years since ive played. Atm im just going through pre searing but is it possible for me to play my Ritualist in the area immediately after pre searing? Ideally i want to go thru all the story solely on ritualist but if i have to do new chars for each expacs that's no problem. Thanks! [link] [comments]
