When did getting a run somewhere become so expensive?

Back in the day a run could cost any where between tips to maybe 10k. Recently I've been needed to get runs done and they are anywhere between 10 to 25 ectos for those same exact runs. It's not worth it, the time it takes to earn those ectos, I might as well level up a new toon to 20 and do the run myself. Am I the only one that feels the price is way over inflated? For a new player or a returning player with not much gold could never afford such a basic experience.

I know ele is really good for getting ldoa, but how about the rest of the game? I'm trying to explore new classes since I've had this game for 12 years and only played half of them

Looking to make my first perma pre character. I have the /bonus weapons and the fire imp. Curious which class has the easiest time getting to 20 without relying as heavily on runes.
