    should certain group events be scaled down in gw2 off times?

    such as drakkar and storms of winter. like between 0300-0900 scale them down a bit. you know, for the people who have a different sleep schedule and are up at night, these events are often undoable, but if scaled down during this time period, they could be doable.

    Confused about free Living Worlds

    Hello :)

    I'm a little bit confused what free living worlds episodes mean for me. I dont have any rn, just expansions. I wanted to buy all living world seasons, starting with Icebrood Saga today but now im not sure if its worthy. Should i wait them to be unlocked and play them for free (for just that week i guess) or should i buy them and play them twice? Should i unlock Icebrood Saga at least now when im waiting? What do you think would be the best for you?

    Hi everyone. I have been playing FFXIV since early 2014. I played GW2 like 8 years ago and got a Guardian to lv 80, finished the MSQ from that time, I plan to play both games but I remember almost nothing and I am very lost with some things, I have been reading the wiki and the questions thread but I still have questions. Already started a fresh THF.

    Not need to answer all questions, any answer is welcome.

    1) How is the MSQ here? It gates content or can I do any content if I have the level?

    2) MSQ are just the green icon quests?

    3) I saw something about chapters and episodes. Are these like expansions? What are they? What do the give me?

    4) If I understood well, this chapters/episodes will be free one per week from July or June, how do I reclaim them?

    5) If I do not have the expansions, can I reclaim the chapters/episodes? I want to save some money and wait for a sale maybe.

    6) Can you correlate GW2 content with similar content in FFXIV? Primals normal, Extreme, Savage, Alliance raids, Ultimate, Dungeons, PotD, Faux hollows, Baldesion Arsenal. I am not looking for a replacement of these contents, just trying to understand, if they are totally different it's fine.

    7) About the glamour dresser, Can I have plates like in FFXIV and apply the to any job at any time?

    8) I saw something like transmutation charges to apply glamours but I barely have a few of these. How can I get more? In FFXIV "they" cost a very few coppers each. I saw something about them in the Gem Store but I doubt that each time I want to change glamour from a piece of gear I need to expend real money.

    9) I have seen coffers on the maps (not jumping puzzles) How much time do I need to wait for getting one of these coffers again?

    10) I have been seen people talking about meta event farming, currently which are the most visited events? All I have to do is follow the train? When do they happen?

    11) Wiki says guild enhancements increase when the guild unlock them but.. I do not understand how to unlock them. It says a NPC sells items when they are unlock.

    12) Maybe a continuation of 7 and 8. I have seen people with beautiful glamours at low level, do they expend transmutation stones each time they gain some levels and upgrade their gear?

    13) Controller is not supported?

    14) What are the rules for gathering nodes spawn? For example in Malchor's leap we have these trees spawning every hour near the statue but other nodes do not appear everytime? I have had up to 4 consecutive times going to this place and not seeing a single mithril node in a wide area. Actually sometimes I see anode in the minimap but when I get closer disappears.

    15) How can I check the prices things have been selling in the TP? I see the current buy/sell price only. I do not want to put on sale something at a very low price just because I do not know the historic price.

    16) Where can I store my gear? I have pieces that would like to use with another classes.

    17) Following the question, what is better, lv 80 synced gear or gear from the lv I need? Imagine I want to do a lv 40 dungeon or map with a lv 80 class, what is the best gear I can use?

    18) Any weeklies I should not lose or are recommended? I have seen the dailies but I do not know if weeklies exist.

    19) What it's the purpose of this column? Each time I click on it that message appears. By right-click appears more options but seems like the horizontal tabs but worse.

    20) What is the DPS meter? It's allowed?

    21) What is the cycle when I want to play with a lv 80 class? Buy exotic armor on the TP then… what? (Hope it's not thaaat expensive).

    22) Everytime I get BL key, should I use it to open a BL coffer? Or are there better uses?

    23) Any tip and recommendation is appreciated.

    As far as I have seen, lfg groups only wants people with at least gold rank in pvp, which I totally understand.

    I am playing this game for a bit more than half a year now and my experience with pvp so far is that out of 10 matches, in 6 matches most teammember are ignoring the capture points anyway.

    What I don't get: How can it be manageable to achieve a rank that let's you play tournaments through lfg?

    Or is the only chance to know people who wants to play the same? (because I don't know anyone who's interested in tournaments)

    Hello Tyrians! this is an idea I had for some time and wanted to share with the community of Gw2 a Fractal/dungeon of my own making! but before you start reading please keep in mind that English is my second language so there will be typos and grammar erros, sorry about that 😛 Also feel free to let me know what would you add or change to this, lets make it extra fun!

    the idea of this fractal/dungeon is to be in Bjora Marches map

    The fractal / dungeon starts with your party getting to the entrance of a cave, there you find a small young kodan that tells you he needs your help getting inside the (dangerous) cave to recover a treasure he needs to move on on his journey.

    When you get inside you find yourself in a long hallway and at the end of the hallway you find a group of Fallen Kodans that inmediatly atacks you (the fight goes by while the little kodan cowers in a corner in silence)

    after that fight you keep walking and get to a room with a BIG door with a lot of chains hastly put in place with small locks on it (tons of them) the room has destroyed furniture and claw marks on the walls and blood spatters everywhere (not a good signal) then you hear a roar and you find yourself in front of a big koda, limbs half eaten away, half undead rotten Kodan (the boss size is a little bigger than a norm)

    The kodan has two atacks a normal atack with her claws and a aoe stomp that you need to avoid or else you get a stunned effect, when you get to 50% She (Yes the kodan is a she) gets a new attack that is a cone shaped aoe scream that you can counter by breaking a defiance bar, failing to do so will give your party a bleed or torment debuff that drains hp over time and can kill a party member really fast.

    After you kill her you get to know the true about who was that koda and the ones you killed before, turns out all those kodans where part of a small family tribe that got corrupted by Jormag's influence in the area and got infected, the small koda being the only survivor, you press on and destroy those chains and locks on that big dood, as you enter the last and bigger room you hear a strange noises and you get a small cinematic. in the cutscene you see the big and final boss, a Boneskinner sized Kodan (holding a broadsword ) in an advanced state of transformation, an abomination half Koda with Skinner arms and legs that lets out a a deafening roar that ends the cinematic into the fight.

    The fight will have 3 phases

    In the first part you will fight the koda dealing damage and avoiding his long range sword swipes and his powerfull sword bashes.

    At 75% he gets a defiance bar that you need to break or he will use a big aoe skill, toxic breath that will fill the room causing Poisoned and crippled

    at 50% The sword breaks, causing the Boss to get enraged and starts to get feral, in addition to his toxic breath he starts using his claws to attack, giving him a chance to inflict Torment, chilled and weakness

    When you Finally defeat the final boss you see the small Kodan walking towards the corpse of the long gone Kodan, he checks the pockets and takes a small wooden figurine shaped like a kodan warrior, a toy that his father once carved for him and as he thanks you you get the final chest (That figurine is a reward you can get from the chest)

    And thats all! what do you think? what would you add to a creepy Kodan fractal?

    Can Trahearne even be a Revenant legend?

    So we know we had to kill him towards the end of HoT because of his connection with Mordy, and I do remember seeing his "spirit" in that Caladbolg quest, but apparently that was just the Caladbolg imparting its dream on you. Did he even reach into the Mists to create an echo?

    Still, I kinda want him to see our progress. As much as I hated him before, I had this sense of longing for him after his disappearance. Marshal Legend with greatsword "necro" abilities would be rad (kinda funny he was pulling a Reaper before Marjory).

    [Help needed] Class Setup / Survivability / Revenant

    TL;DR: I feel like I'm super squishy with the Revenant class, especially when playing solo and trying to fight slightly bigger enemies.

    Recently started playing the game. So far I leveld up to 20 as Revenant, as of now I mainly use 2 swords as primary weapons and the Assassin stance thingy. And sometimes switch to staff and Demon stance.

    I play either solo or with a friend and noticed on my solo play that it often gets quite hard to survive in battle, especially against stronger enemies. Mostly because I can heal myself for only about 200 HP every 30 seconds and some enemies deal that amount of damage with a single attack.

    So, now I'm wondering if I just picked a bad starting class and if I should try another class first and come back to Revenant later or just push through somehow because later it might be easier.

    Can I Select the stats for my newly crafted Precursor Weapon?

    I just finished crafting The Mechanism and I'd like to use it for now since I still need to farm HoT currencies and the final Collection. I've already crafted a Gen 1 Precursor before but Dawn already had Berserker Stats when I finished it. I read online that Changing the Stats of my Precursor will destroy its precursor status so I'm hesitant to select the initial stats for it now. Just want some confirmation on this.
