    Hello, for the past months i've been collecting all of this material to use for the Raid League website and stream but i had a plan to release everything to the public and here it is.

    The following drives have hundreds of screenshots and images of raid bosses, the loading screen images and other things.

    Desmina (Soulless Horror) and Qadim the Peerless are missing from the cuts because too much noise to get a good cut.

    Hello Reddit,

    We are happy to present our 2:19 Deimos kill with a more reasonable amount of Chronomancers.

    The general strategy is to deal a lot of damage during the Unnatural Signet. For that reason we decided against sacrificing a person, so that we have 10 players for both Unnatural Signets. To achieve this we send only a single person up with the green at 75%, bring Deimos quickly to 50% to then send everyone but the Druid up in the second green and focus the Gambler, as he has roughly 1.5 million HP less than the Thief.

    Deimos movement:
    Moving Deimos to the proper tanking spots at the right time is a bit of a challenge itself, as he can stop midway and start casting either Annihilate or Mind Crush. Due to this we have limited time to move him while those skills are on cooldown. To gurantee that the Renegade, who is the main tank, can keep attacking Deimos while he is being moved for a longer distance the Druid takes over tanking using a staff that has toughness on it.

    Thanks to Yulian for helping out during the last week we had time
    (names in italic are from a different run, due to not recording, not having time, or not being satisfied with their performance)

    -Renegade-
    As mentioned above the Renegade is the main tank as he loses the least for doing this. On top of that the Renegade tanking gurantees that he cannot get affected by mechanics we do not want him to be affected by so that he can stay with the main group to provide permanent alacrity as well as Assassin's Presence.

    -Druid-
    The Druid is the temporary tank next to the Renegade to move Deimos for a longer distance or while the main group is gone. Aside from that a Druid offers might, fury, protection, regeneration and all the fun of healing while also having to handkite. The Druid also provided some unique conditions (some weakness, blind, immobilise, torment) to boost the Holosmith damage output through Modified Ammunition.

    -Chronomancer-
    So quickness is a thing that can help a lot if you want to deal a lot of damage in a short amount of time. For this reason we brough just enough power Chronomancer to cover the quickness we need in the crucial moments of the Fight using timewarp. Another thing the Chronomancer are in charge of is aegis. Thats why two of the three Chronomancer brought Well of Precognition to be able to block specific attacks at specific timings.

    -Berserker-
    The Berserker was obviously brought for the banner (duh), on top of that he provided Empower Allies to the squad.

    -Soulbeast-
    I think its pretty obvious why we brough some Soulbeast. In case its not, One Wolf Pack is a ridiculous powerfull skill for this encounter! Additionally Soulbeast has a great burst itself and provides some unique conditions as well (helps with chill, weakness, poison uptime).

    -Holosmith-
    Now that boons and other buffs are covered there was still room for other DPS classes and after going through Weaver, Dragonhunter, Soulbeast and Holosmith, we deemed Holosmith as the best choice for what we were trying to achieve, as it offers high burst potential, good synergy with One Wolf Pack as well as good damage outside of the Unnatural Signet.

    In the end we could have shaved off a bit more time, but with the balance patch coming we are running out of time.

    Anyway, it was a joy to work on this and we hope to see you around when we release a new project.

    5+ Years of raiding, and Druid is still unshakably meta.

    And I'm sick of it. Firebrand, Renegade and soon-to-be Scrapper healers avert their eyes and breathe a sigh of relief that their respective boons can't be covered by druid. Heal Scourge secretly hopes that the group is awful so they have a purpose to be there. Tempest tries so hard with a galaxy brain rotation to merely be a pretender to the throne, never to measure up.

    Boss strategies have been created centering around what a Druid can do because they've been such a mainstay, so nothing can truly replace it without doing a LOT of convincing and role shuffling squads don't have the patience for. Think about all the mileage Entangle gets in wing 1. Think about pushing on SH. Think about vuln and kiting on Largos. Think about all the mobility and ranged cc you need for Q2 anomalies. And they're buffing it's CC with the next patch!

    I just wish any ONE of these aspects of Druid would be looked at to make space for alternative, main-healers:

    • Might generation: Just think about all the builds that CAN generate might completely obsoleted by Druid's 10 man might ability. PS warrior is rolling in it's grave. Fire for Effect Deadeye never saw the light of day by the sheer audacity of coming into existence after druid. Tempest/Herald have all the right tools but have never felt wanted. I'm expecting Staff Alacrity Mirage to be dead on arrival for the same reason after the patch.
    • Unique Buffs: At this point, the only difference (buff-wise) between Tempest and Druid is Spotter + Sun/Frost spirit. And yet, theres no reason to swap out the druid because its just a straight up loss for no reason.
    • Overperforming utility skills: A controversial one probably, but I think Stone Spirit providing permanent 10 man protection on ONE utility skill is clearly broken. Same with Storm Spirit instantly giving 25 vuln to a lesser extent, most relevant on Largos. Put some of these effects on underused weapons so they have to give up something from their existing kit to have these.

    Many people would suggest giving Quickness/Alacrity to underused Heal builds. Sure that will work, but isn't that ignoring and working around the elephant in the room?

    qol request for next patch

    When you get something that allows you a choice of recipes, it would be fairly basic that the popup of what it is, shows WHAT YOU MAKE. Ideally, even the stats.

    "Trailblazer's Pearl Stinger" - doesn't say if that's a dagger, a sword, a pistol.

    Obvs: Yes, I know I can look it up.

    Are mounts unlockable account wide?

    Or do you have to unlock them for every character?

    Cause I'm probably not gonna use my level 80 boost at all if you have to do it per character.

    Different story if it's account wide. I can boost a character I don't care about, unlock mounts, then go back to playing the ones I care about.

    HoT & PoF Expansions

    Hello!

    I purchased these expansions about 6 months ago to unlock the elite specializations for pvp and to get a raptor to help me finish map completion ect. Now that I have completed some longer term goals (Map completion ect) from the original game I wanted to jump into these. Guild Wars is such a ginormous and non-linear game it is really hard for me to tell the benefits from completing the campaigns and also they don't feel required at all? Coming from a long time WoW player where the game entirely revolves around a expansion it is a little confusing playing such a wide open game like Guid Wars. I haven't ran into any situation were I needed something from a expansion (that I am aware of) but are there any must get items anyone could recommend?

    Help a noob out!
