    Warrior not viable in PVP ?

    Hey there,

    i just started with GW2 and want to participate in PVP. I read everywhere that the warrior is not good for pvp? Is this really the case right now and can someone explain why, if so?

    I want to play ranked, 2vs2's and some RVR.

    How about another Mystic Forge Secrets event? It's been a year and a half now since the last one!

    Last one was in October of 2019. The achievements remain in the Tradesman tab, along with the title, though they are unobtainable for a year and a half now if you missed the previous events.

    There are even some excellent choices for materials from IBS to be donated to provide a little economic balance or encourage replaying some IBS content. Might I recommend Large Claws, Eitrite Ingots, or War Supplies?

    We have a nice roadmap through July, but I sure wouldn't hate to see this event come back between the end of July and the launch of EoD.

    Does anyone know a good WvW guild video with open coms, that is a good example of competitive WvW gameplay?

    Runecrafter and Silver-Fed should be permanently available

    Copper-Fed used to cycle in and out, now it's permanently available in the shop. For the same reason, Runecrafter and Silver-Fed should be as well. These items are simply too powerfull to only make them available twice a year. It doesn't even make sense to artificial scarce them to make people fear of missing out, you want to use them asap anyways.

    In the past Silver-Fed was useless cause way too expensive to salvage and yellows were actually rare so the mystic kit was fine. This is not the case anymore. Unidentified rares drop like candy and you will burn through your mystic stones swiftly. 60 copper is also a fair price for salvaging.

    Runecrafter is even worse. There is no mystic version of it. Second best option for greens with upgrades is the mystic kit. This would burn your mystic stones extremely fast.

    You already have to use the mystic kit for greens coming out of unidentified blues, burning mystic stones.

    If you change the old system where Copper-Fed and mystic kit where enough, then at least make Runecrafter and Silver-Fed permanently available.

    The solution can't be to just sell unidentified greens and yellows on the tp, doing so would completely stop your account luck progress and that's just shitty.

    Performance issues with Seraph Backpiece on a mesmer?

    So I recently have been having major performance issues with my game, and it started ever since the champion LS was release. At first I thought it was time to update some drivers. Didn't work. Tried to reinstall the game? Nope. Tried to use the dx9 to dx12 tool (made a difference, but not where I needed it.)

    Then I started to realize this issue was exclusively on my mesmer. And this was that, whenever I created/destroyed clones, my FPS would drop to a slideshow for about 1-2 seconds. Even though it still said it maintained 20-25fps.

    I was confused why this issue was only on my mesmer. Well after doing a bit of googling i stumbled upon a gw2 forum post about people talking performance issues with mesmers that had the vermillion wings on...There were a few videos posted that really showed how heavy those FPS drops were:

    Im just curious. Me and the wife have almost the same specs. She doesn't have nearly as bad of FPS issues as I do...just for fun i recorded it so ya'll can see how bad it gets with the seraph wings vs without the seraph wings:

    My solution to Anet? Disable all backpieces on mesmer clones either automatically, or create a setting for it..easy.

    Hi guys, A somewhat of a new player here, i bought the game when it was a buy to play model along however I couldn't play it at the time due to my laptop being very bad and couldn't handle the game. I got a new pc a few years ago and now i'm thinkinf of returning to the game and i just downloaded it. However i'm a bit iffy in terms of what type of game imm walking into and i just wanted some clarification on certain aspects on character building As someone who prefers to "main" a class or 2, what class would be the best, I'm a balanced played who would like to enjoy both pvp and endgame PVE like raids etc Also, do races have any severe impacts on your character development?

    Any advice would be appreciated guys, thanks in advance!!

    Lake Doric Harvest Cascades Bugged Meta

    It got bugged yesterday and the bug persists still to this moment on the EU server. The issue is that the event is blocking the entire meta from progressing and other events from spawning in the region effectively blocking access to the 4 achievements (at least) in the pic for everyone.
