    I'm not sure what it is about the average gw2 player, but they tend to (from my experience with pugs), believe that if they don't auto complete something, it's impossible.

    I did all the CMS solo at first because if I can solo something, I'd prefer to do that, but today I figured it would be a nice change to do it in a group. I was very wrong, every group I entered (6 or 7), failed the time limit and started getting disgruntled and complaining that it's unfair and or impossible.

    I would say it's not even close to impossible and they get angry, I explain to them why we were failing, but they didn't want to hear it, they would either quit the party or insinuate I was lying. So, thank you Anet, for giving me the opportunity to do these DRMs by myself.

    Since we finally got the Hawk Trident, could we please have the Hawk Harpoon/Ebon Vanguard Harpoon aswell?

    Ad infinitum looks like its part of the basic grey fractal weapons set. I like its style consistency! But there's 2 other fractal weapons sets (gold and abyssal), and, well, there's no way to match it if you like fractals (and most of the end game players do). There's a couple ways to implement this, and I don't know which one is best, but I'd be happy if we could get some path to customizing this backpiece we did a bunch of collecting for.

    Dye channels for ad infinitum (I mean its legendary, it should probably have dye channels when a lot of lower effort backpieces do)

    Mystic forge recipe (ad infinitum + gold fractal relics or abyssal fractal weapons = gold or abyssal ad infinitum)

    Bling merchant unlock skins (Owning ad infinitum unlocks gold and abyssal ad skins in the bling shop. Using essences as the currency can keep the abyssal set consistent with CM rewards. Gold ad can be bought with fractal journals.)

    Collection based skins (Collection includes ad infinitum to unlock, and a certain number of gold or abyssal fractal weapons)

    Just spitballing here, let me know what you think.

    Snowden Drift DRM - Solo All CMs - Reaper

    Heyo, I recorded my last solo run. It's far from clean but maybe it helps someone to get it done alone. Definetly use the Special Action Key from the dwarfen ally as often as possible. You can get a new one by pressing F at the dwarf. In my self stats in the top right you can see that it's very hard.

    While Ryland is channeling there will spawn 3 circles around him, meaning there is a 4th area that is free. Stand there and keep hitting. During the auto attacks just circle around him to not get hit by the knockback without having to use endurance. In the first phase I get knocked even though I am not in the aoe.

    Traits are in the start of the video. Food is ascended power/ferocity with -10% incoming damage, utility is sharpening stone and I stacked blood lust sigil during the escort. I prefer dagger over axe for the additional healing. To speed up the escort you can swap templates to scourge and use Trail of Anguish on the npcs.

    What Are Your Theories For the End of The Icebrood Saga?

    I see a lot of Icebrood hate on this sub but I personally think at least the story and writing as a whole has gone up in quality. So, what are your theories for the end of Icebrood (or just what you think/want to happen) and the remaining episodes leading into EOD?

    My personal theory is that in Judgment, there will be a giant confrontation between Primordus and Jormag , and between Braham and Ryland (or whoever) and The Commander and friends will try to stop it, only for Primordus to end up killing Jormag, and going to Cantha to kill bubbles. That way, Icebrood saga has a built to cilmactic cliffhanger that leads into EOD well, and Primordus gets to be the last dragon.

    I doubt it'll happen, but I still wanna see your guy's theories.

    For the lore buffs in this community: Can we expect Cantha’s technology to be advanced compared to our’s? If so, by how far/what tech areas? Is there different kind of magic we will likely encounter?

    I've tried reading up on Cantha but couldn't find a clear answer on their tech. I seem to remember there being a plague that was fabricated, so they might have more advanced biology tech we have to face?

    Want to play with my crush

    My crush plays GW2 and I want to play with him but I don't want to come across as a nobody. I try to be interested but I am nowhere near the nerd he is. Since I really like him I want to try an give it a shot. I have tried a bit but get overwhelmed with boss-mechanics etc. I want to not suck basically. Do you guys have any advice for a total beginner?

    Edit: i kind of want to surprise him with being more ok at the game.

    CoF P1 Duo Record - 4:45

    Hello everyone!

    Following our CoF P3 duo record (Guard/Chrono), we decided to go for P1 as well since we already had the gear set up. This path is pretty straightforward but contains quite a bit of RNG, especially regarding the NPC. Our time can definately be improved but we are happy with the result since we didn't feel like grinding RNG. Enjoy!

    FoR DRM CM Burning stacks

    So every time I do this mission with all CM's turned on I keep getting 6 stacks of burning put on me during the boss fight and I almost die or die altogether. I'm not standing in the burning field, not getting hit by his shock wave and not getting hit by the small random aoe fields either. I'm a bit confused about this mechanic and how to avoid it.
