That time, if fun for you, can be its own content, certainly, but if it stops being fun, don't devalue yourself to make what you're asked to spend look more fair.

However, the clothing of the Orrian ghosts are so disappointing. There's almost no unique clothing. | Posted: 02 Dec 2020 09:24 AM PST Hello Everyone. I'm not sure if any help will come from this post but wanted to at least get my story out there and see if anyone else has had this issue. I've been an off and on player since 2014. I just recently wanted to come back and start playing again after a few years away and had no issue logging in. I had no signs that anything was wrong with my game or account and I had SMS 2FA setup since it came out. So everything was good but I wanted to update my account information and email since it had all changed over the last couple years. I submitted a ticket on Thursday 11/19 to get my email updated. I got a reply from Grenholdt at ArenaNet after 11 pm that evening that my account was updated to my new email address. So the next day, Friday 11/20, I purchased the Path of Fire - Deluxe expansion from ArenaNet's website as it was on sale for 50% off while at work. The first chance I had to play next was late morning Saturday 11/21. I was able to log into the game with my new email no problem and also activated my new Path of Fire product key in my account. I was able to play with no issues for about an hour or so before I had to leave to run errands. When I came back shortly after 1 pm, I was not able to log back in and was getting Error Code: 3023:1012:6:377 so I created a new ticket. Again shortly after 11 pm that evening I received a reply from Mako at ArenaNet asking if I have attempted to contact them via other email address and if so to provide them and ticket numbers if possible. So I assumed it might be an issue with my recent email change so I replied back with my old email address, the ticket number for the change, as well as my original GW2 product key for confirmation. Here is where my troubles started. I received the following reply from ArenaNet the next evening: Hello, This email is to notify you that account xxxxxxxxxx has been terminated. This has occurred due to multiple persons contacting the support team and being able to provide the necessary account verification information to claim access to the account. Once an account has entered this stage, the account is no longer supportable because the account can no longer be secured. In short, the integrity of the account and its login information has been compromised beyond recovery. Due to the depth of analysis prior to the account termination, no additional reviews or appeals will be considered. Regards, Ahelia Of course I replied back stating my case about having the old email and new email addresses, tried creating a new ticket, I even sent in an image of my driver's license to prove my identity. I only got 1 reply from them which was: Hello, We are aware of your other ticket, but the other user that is capable of verifying the ownership of the account is not related to the ticket xxxxxxx or your email "xxxxxxxxx" that you have used to contact us. With that said, the account will remain closed and any further appeals will not be considered. Regards, Ahelia Then they promptly closed my tickets. I just don't see how they had no issue updating my email and account information but just hours after activating the new expansion key, the somehow found my account compromised. They never provided any proof that my account was compromised, while I was able to play I saw nothing was missing/changed on any of my characters to make me think I was hacked. Neither of my emails were ever hacked. I have no idea who this other user is as no one else has ever played on my account and again, I had SMS 2FA setup since it was implemented to go to my personal cell phone which WAS still working when I did log in before they terminated my account. I have sent additional emails pleading for some assistance and have left voice mail messages with their office (which you cannot possibly talk to a person). I have now lost access to my game account that I originally spent $80 to purchase, just spent almost $30 to play the expansion, and have probably spent $100-$200 on in Gems over the years. It had 5 max lvl 80 characters that I had spent a lot of time on and it was all just turned off. I wasn't cheating or violating their ToS in any way an was not accused of it. The said that another user could prove ownership of my account even though I am the owner of the email addresses, and SMS 2FA phone associated with it. I just don't know how they could say my account is compromised but not do anything to help me fix it. I even submitted a complaint to the Better Business Bureau who did forward my complaint to ArenaNet but after almost a week, I haven't seen any reply to that either. I'm not seeing any money or gains in any way from this. I even made a brand new email to make a brand new Account and purchased the game again (now at full price because the sale ended) just so I can play with my friends again. All I would want is access to my original account so I would have all the things I either purchased with Gems or unlocked with Achievements again as well as to make this right. I am curious at what level or part of the game should I really start to work on it? I am only level 10 and just started this week. So I am curious should I wait until I am like 40-50s to start or what? I am also F2P so I am not sure if that will hurt my crafting opportunities? Should I just buy the game for $30 and be done with it? I have researched and see a lot of 'best professions' type threads, but I dont see any that talk about how or guides to where the best mats are and things like that. With the combined power of One Wolf Pack, Conjures and of course the most valuable renegade weapon - the shortbow - we slayed Siax and improved the record time. Our initial goal was to achieve a 22s kill which we did not manage in the end. During our grind we encountered a bug when phasing Siax before his breakbar appears in p1 which makes the breakbar appear in p2 instead. This in turn leads to the group losing scholar uptime and often times resulted in an instant gg. Renegade: To be able to kill the first add at this pace we decided to use a shortbow as sword auto attacks would have been weaker. Im currently working on a school audiovisual project, basically making a advertising poster, and please wait, don't ban me just yet, this isn't for a real actual advertising, its just for grading. Im looking for versions of the artworks from unfinished stages to finished ones, so the poster can show the progress between the sketch to the finished artwork. | Posted: 03 Dec 2020 10:32 AM PST I honestly cant decide which one I want the weaver mechanics sound so god damn cool(the tempest sounds just as cool) and while the reaper mechanics arent as cool the class theme is so bad ass I love the idea of being this shadow monster but I dont understand the lore to the reaper like is there and lore like whats the deal with the hood does the magic I use corrupt me do reapers bound their souls to there armor so they wont die I also get worried about how reapers are view and wether ill be judged for playing one I also really like the weavers theme and theres actual lore there thats interesting Im looking to do both pvp and pve [link] [comments] | ||
