I bought the game back in 2014 and haven't played much of the game since I was interested in other things. However with the current pandemic going on I gave guild wars another try and am amazed at how beautiful this actually game is. People going out of their way for trying to revive you, giving tips and being interested in a fun conversation is what made this my favorite MMORPG ever, the horizontal progression likewise. The community is nowhere near toxic from how I experienced it and I had this feeling in every map instance I entered. This truly felt like a 'journey' since I had to walk towards things but it made me admire every factor inside this game and having me hyped about buying the expansions in the near future. Completing the WM became a primary mission for me back in the day so I'm glad I finally finished it after 110 hours. I feel it's only a first step to my account progression, but I guess it is something! :D I'm only making this post to show some appreciation for the developers of GW2 and especially you, the player, for giving me such a unique experience which I really needed. You are the reason I'm definitely staying here and will make special memories upon time. Thank you all for all the positivity and may this game never get old. I Main daredevil and it does wonder in raids, but ive heard in fractals they are literally frowned upon by most. I also have maxed out reaper, berserker and soulbeast, but out of these my pick would be reaper. | A few extra animation/emote ideas Posted: 31 Aug 2020 05:34 PM PDT Basicly cosmetic goodies/QoL: a /sit2 offering a different type of sit; especially important for female characters to have an actual sit or a squat atleast and not a 'paint me like one of your a /flex emote, I was surprised it doesn't exist in gw2 - flex your biceps, maybe awaken your masters while at it. a /pushups emote. Fall down on the ground and perform a looping push-up. Warriors and only Warriors have a custom version of /pushups, where they do one-armed push ups instead of two arms, because they're Chads. One of the things I became most known for was puns. I run around in the mad king costume making gw2 themed jokes. Such as Your mommas so fat when she logs in they disable minis, to what happens if you are in cursed shore too long? You get a Zhai-tan. I've got lots of ascended and valuable items that I'm reluctant to destroy, which essentially occupies the majority of both my inventory and vault. I heard that the game is getting a new xpac soon, so I kinda decided to give it a try again. I never did much PvE, and always liked the PvP in this game. That said I don't have any of the xpacs. So I was wondering... will I be able to join sPvP and not get absolutely stomped by the elite specs that were added with the expansions? I know that they are supposed to be stronger, but how much difference in power are we talking about? Will I get one shot? Will people curse their luck for ending up in the team of someone that's not playing them? Basically, will I be able to have fun/at least compete with my poor man's build? [link] [comments] | ||

Posted: 31 Aug 2020 07:56 PM PDT I don't see much talk on this sub like I used to; I've just returned to the game to do the underwater skimmer mastery and I'm instantly reminded of my least favorite habit of the game: new content and I'm spending as much time on the wiki page as I am in game, going to a place, hitting F, and of course reading the dialog because I'm a good sport. I'm considering skipping out on the mastery because of this, but also because it looks like I'll need to grind out 4 more mastery points.
