I've recently come back to the game after years of time off it and wanted to see if there was anyone around who wanted to link up and play. When I was younger I finished Prophecies & Factions with a Conjure Flame Barrage Ranger & a Minion Master Necromancer but right now I'm aiming to get LDoA on a Warrior before trying to complete all of the story lines. I never got to play any Nightfall or EotN back in the day, so it'd be great to finish that alongside some people. Hit up my old warrior character if you're keen for some games. Cheers. | Posted: 09 Aug 2020 06:19 PM PDT So I've returned to the game after a long time, and I've been running hard-mode content (zones/ daily z-missions) on my ranger. Ranger feels a bit stale, perhaps I am running a wrong build. Curious as to what everyone else is running and what you enjoy. Was thinking about leveling up a new warrior but I am not sure. | 155 fps/hz issues - Teleporting and Jumpy Characters Posted: 09 Aug 2020 08:33 AM PDT So I built a new gaming rig recently and have a new monitor as well that has a 155hz option. If I play GW with frame limiter at "none" or "monitor refresh rate" I get 155 fps, but every 10-20 seconds or so my character randomly jumps or teleports. If I set the frame limiter to 60 this issue goes away but I'm playing at a much less smooth/"choppy" 60 fps. This happens with window fullscreen, windowed borderless, window, vertical sync on/off, etc. I'd really love to play at 155 fps as the game is smooth as butter except for the random repositioning of my character. Any ideas? Or am I stuck to 60 fps? SOLVED: I'm not sure what it is about 155fps but GW doesn't seem to like it. I installed Rivatuner Statistics Server, added gw.exe to the list of controllable exes and set the fps cap to 144. This seems to have fixed the issue! [link] [comments] |
