Post your 90% 50% 10% predictions for the rest of the Icebrood Saga Posted: 02 Jun 2020 07:38 AM PDT 90% - Bangar and Ryland become Icebrood 50% - They pull a Darth Vader in Ryland and he helps you kill Bangar at the end. 10% - Rytlock becomes Khan-Ur now that Gaheron, Almorra, Bangar aren't around, and Smodur is suddenly evil for some reason. My prediction on how the rest of Icebrood Saga will go Posted: 02 Jun 2020 12:04 AM PDT Based on what we know from the portal tome having 9 slots, and the fact that each half of these split maps seem to take up a slot themselves(in case you have one episode but not the other), meaning we are already on slot 4 of 9, here is how I am guessing the rest of Icebrood Saga will play out. Episode 4(slot 5) will take us to the northern part of Drizzlewood, chasing down Ryland/Banger. The northern meta may be like the southern one in that its a territory control thing. At the end of the episode, the Charr Civil War will be over(not necessarily meaning either Banger or Ryland will be dead mind you, just that the Charr's conflict will be over) Banger will likely end up waking Jormag because hes a massive tool like that. Banger might die here, since his story purpose is basically over at this point, with Ryland taking over. Episodes 5 and 6(slots 6 and 7) will likely be another split map situation like Bjora and Drizzlewood. Not 100% sure where it will be, but, assuming Anet keeps us up north, and doesn't expand the map, it will likely either be in the Charr Homelands, or the other part of the Woodland Cascades. Narratively, this will be our Thunderhead Peaks/Rata Novus chapter where we are going after some sort of mcguffin item/power needed to fight Jormag. Episode 7(slot 8) will be the Dragonstand/Dragonfall map for Jormag, the story being us finally killing it/otherwise disposing of it. They could split this map also, but that would seem weird, and I don't really see them doing the final boss meta as two separate metas like Bjora, Drizzlewood, and map 3 are. I could guess that this map might be in that big space between Bjora, Drizzlewood, the Eye of the North, and Bitterfrost. In the giant ice lake area on the map. Episode 8 will likely be an epilogue chapter. Icebrood Saga is unique in that it had a dedicated prologue chapter, unlike LWS2, 3, and 4, and the fact that its called a Saga instead of a typical LW season(though it basically is) Long "epic" sagas that have a prologue tend to have an epilogue as well. I could see this being similar to "Bound By Blood" where we are celebrating the defeat of Jormag, and at the end we get some sort of lead in into the upcoming Cantha expansion. As to where it would be. Maybe the Dominion of Winds. The Tengu, who worship the four windsof north, south, east, and west, may decree now that the dragon of the south(Zhaitan) the dragon of the west(Mordremoth) the dragon of the east(Kralkatorik) and the dragon of the north(Jormag) are dead, its time to open the Dominion of Winds, and maybe try to go back to Cantha. I also suspect we will get more "Visions of the Past" updated after episode 4 and 6. Anet treated it like it was going to be something they do more of, and having them slot in between map transitions makes sense. [link] [comments]

Posted: 01 Jun 2020 03:55 PM PDT Imgur album: https://imgur.com/a/oZsI7nP As a Scourge, you are able to take the trait Herald of Sorrow which changes your F5 skill to a timed explosion. Once pressed, a yellow AoE appears around your character and fills up. Once full, the explosion goes off and anyone in the AoE receives barrier. However, the size of the yellow indicator scales to player height. As you can see in the imgur album, when I use an embiggening tonic and a miniature tonic, the size of the yellow indicator changes. The yellow AoE should always be the exact same size as the green AoE of the Sand Shade. However, it's not just tonics that affect this. Character size is also an issue. A max height Norn will have a much larger indicator than a minimum height Sylvari. However, the actual radius is the same exact size as a Sand Shade (300). In the album, even when I don't use a tonic, the radii don't line up because I have a very small Sylvari. As such, it's impossible to actually know how large the radius is when a Sand Shade is not placed. I've submitted a bug report and will be posting to the forums as well. TL:DR Harbinger Shroud's yellow explosion AoE changes size depending on your character's height (with or without tonics). This makes it impossible to tell its actual radius. In the album, the yellow AoE changes size, but it's supposed to be exactly the same size as the green AoE. [link] [comments]

Posted: 02 Jun 2020 08:48 AM PDT So, The new Dagger ( Blade of the Iron Imperator ) Has a Superior Sigil of Justice Attached to it, Which Claims to do an extra 10% Damage Vs. OutLaws , Which Seems to only include Seperatists . My question is whether or not The Dominion Charr are Classed as outlaws that the Sigil affects. Or if it was just a Flavor Choice . I haven't experimented enough with The Sigils to know whether or not This applies here. If it's a Flavor Choice : Awesome! Shame that most people will salvage that dagger, however. If it's an Actual in-game impactful Choice with Connection to the story and Flavor , I personally think that's an Incredible decision, and support more Story-based Impactful weapons being released. The Drakkar Lake/Ring of Fire link does not have enough population Posted: 02 Jun 2020 07:18 AM PDT It's basically 2 months of no WvW and this is no exaggeration. There is not enough combined population to play the gamemode. Fights are absent, commanders are absent. RoF on its own obviously hasn't even remotely got enough population to contend in WvW and about 75% of Drakkar Lake's players are active between 10am and 1pm on weekdays. Saturdays and Sundays there is almost constantly Outnumbered on Eternal Battlegrounds and the Home Map. Except in the evenings but by then the opponents have most of their stuff T3 and there's a big chance that the DL/RoF team has no upgraded keeps. This is not a complaint about the quality of the matchup because even two populated servers filled with inexperienced/bad players will product fights, action and entertainment. This is a complaint about the population, as a result of which the gamemode known as "WvW" and the experience associated with it literally doesn't exist in the game at this point. Posting here because ANet gives zero feedback on this on the forums. [link] [comments]
Drizzlewood Coast - Dominion Keeper Locations + Train Guide Maps Posted: 01 Jun 2020 02:38 PM PDT After the main meta-bosses on the new map Drizzlewood Coast have been killed, 10 Charr defector champs will spawn at 10 specific locations on the map 1 at a time in a random order. Fastest way to get to these champs is to teleport back to camp (via blue circle on map) and then glide/griffon/skyscale over. There is a 15 minute window before the champs disappear and the map resets back to the beginning. This champ train has 40 chests to loot and awards a variety of loot such as cloth, leather, ores, wood, jewels, Charr commendations. If you are interested to learn more about the Drizzlewood Coast map and gain some general information/tips, I highly recommend checking out this other post!
