| Crowdfunding Future Development for GW1 Posted: 06 May 2020 07:59 PM PDT Hi Reddit, I know that GW Legacy is the main community site for GW right now. Over there, I saw a campaign where posters were trying to collect signatures to crowdfund future development on the game, since Anet has largely given up with the game. This update marks the first release of new skills in the game in 12 years as far as I know. I think it will be good for our community in general to start posting conversations and things on Reddit, since Reddit is a community with millions upon millions of people, and it might attract more attention to GW1 if people see us posting stuff about the game here. GW Legacy could still be useful as a buying/selling site, since the game doesn't have a trading post. Please leave your ideas, comments, and concerns about crowdfunding future developments of the game, so that we don't have to keep wondering and hoping if something good will happen in the future. I myself had quit the game a year ago, and switched to a different game for a whole year. I now have returned to GW with the new skills release. But I am still skeptical of whether I will be wasting my time, since it looks like botters still control PVE, and cheaters and toxic players still dominate PVP. [link] [comments] | ||

I messaged the support to change the password of my old account. They asked me for serial codes. Told them I had none since over 13 years have passed. They asked me for the exact date of creation of my account. Couldnt Tell them Either. Told them the year instead. Then they only asked me for character names. I could tell them one. Then the support messaged me that they reset my password. After that I said that my account is permanently banned , I really expected them to say something amongst the lines of "yeah our system says youve been using third party programs so I can't unban you, have a nice day". Instead they replied that they unbanned the account and to wished me a nice day. Idk I'm happy to log into my old Account once again but on the other hand... all I need to unban an account or even get a password apparently is the email address and maybe a character name. Pretty good guidelines, only thing I would note differently is that any dual vamp or dual zeal is worth something, and there are some other weird items like req0 scythes. I bought an additional character slot today because I'd like to make a Paragon. I noticed after purchasing the additional character slot I now had TWO empty character slots. Now here is the thing; I CAN'T REMEMBER whether I already had an empty character slow before making my purchase or not. What I can say is after making the purchase, I had 2 empty character slots. Several hours after making this purchase though, I can say one of those empty slots is now gone. Has this sort of thing happened before? Is this a bug people are already aware of? | Looking for theory crafting help Heroic Refrain + Seven Weapon Stance Posted: 06 May 2020 05:27 PM PDT So, I have a friend I have been playing with, and he is playing warrior. I recently set up my Paragon for Heroic Refrain. We've been talking about it, and feel like the warrior may have some awesome off the wall build available that we aren't good enough to theory craft. Was hoping to get some other people's thoughts. So basically, with a +3 rune and a strength helm, you would have 16 strength. With Heroic Refrain, I give you another +4 making it 20. With a rank 20 seven weapon stance, all your weapon skills also go to 20. With that, you also have a lot of other stat points you can still put in. Meaning, you could put a whole other stat to 12 (or more with runes), which once again gets buffed to 16+ with my Heroic Refrain. Thats a pretty nasty amount of Attributes. Does anyone have any ideas for what kind of powerful combos could be done with this? We're kinda noobs haha. Any input is very appreciated. If you've happened to talk about this in some other threads as well, feel free to link them so you don't have to re-type everything. I did a brief search, but could not find any other threads about the combo. Seems most people just focus on what can be done by one player with heroes, especially on the wiki. [link] [comments] | ||

If anyone has tested it and can let me know, I'd really appreciate it! | Posted: 06 May 2020 12:32 PM PDT Hey fam, I really want a dope cross profession hood to wear. After seeing some in game and asking around I realized I've been seeing some costume head pieces. I can't tell if the hood I like best is from the Shining Blade costume or the Augur of Kormir costume. I've seen some pics and vids online but never with just the hood and when it's paired together I can't tell where the hoods start and stop. If anyone owns either or both of these costumes, I'd appreciate some pics or something of the hood on its own so I can see which one to buy! TLDR: can I see some pics of just the hood from the shining blade and augur of kormir costumes being worn, so I can see which one I want to buy?
