    Since in a comment it was speculated that the item still drops from the Whisper of Jormag strike when opened through Bjora Marches portal we did some testing.

    In 15 runs (every single one within the gold timer) not a single drop of the item, which means 0/150 potential drops (logs at the end).

    The worst thing of all, is that we did get a drop, but it was the sandals now worth a whole lot of 15s instead of a garb worth 7.8k gold on TP right now. They have NEVER dropped before from Whisper.

    On additional note, before the Visions of the Past patch, the Whisper used to drop 1 rare unidentified gear in silver, 2 rares in gold. These rares have the chance of turning into the raven skins. Currently with the updated rewards, you only get 1 rare in gold and 0 in silver.

    Here are some screenshots of me dropping the garb pre-patch, as you can see on the right i only get 1 rare when gold, 0 rares when silver but i have the skin.

    Some guy just started kicking everyone before Ancient Forgeman died, seems like he blocked me since I can't see him online. I reported for abusing the lfg system but I feel cheated out of 30 minutes of my life just because someone had a silly little power trip :/

    I summarized it on one greatly edited picture. It no longer drops, nobody sells it either.

    It's currently unobtainable. Checkmate "You can still obtain it if you have 2k gold" peeps.
    Now can we stop this bullshit and make everything really obtainable? The runic armor set is a good example imo.

    But yea, given the fact this item is unobtainable despite being advertized as being obtainable bla bla bla false advertizement from anet bla bla bla.

    Fix the servers, then fix the rewards anet!

    How much practice before **you** could solo champs?

    Somehow auto correct turned solo into dolo.

    I get that you might not be able to give specifics. But it can be generalised, or your best guess as to how many days you spent trying to solo champs at every opportunity, before you could finally do most champs solo successfully, and just know how to adapt without having to think about it?

    At the risk of making myself sound like a blind dredge, I can't stay alive long enough to learn their tells and to stay alive, my vision is divided between my health, my cool downs, conditions etc.

    My analysis ends at 'big boi' 'red circle bad'

    So I tried YouTube videos and at risk of being that person nobody can relate to ...

    Their experiences soloing didn't match my experience. I swear to kitten I watch those videos and I think where the kitten in this fight is the stuff I struggled with??? I don't remember the fight being 'just stand in front of them and give 'em a smek.' I remember the fight being me backhanded onto my butt and kittened out the hole of their posterior. It's not always necro soloing them.

    That's the problem with learning from YouTube videos it LOOKS easy. It LOOKS simple. It's THEIR fight. It's not mine. Plus their experience probably means they've made the circumstances so that the fight is easier for them and I'm seeing them filming the fight after them doing a little bit of this and a little bit of that to give them an advantage. I'm not seeing what they had to do beforehand to give themselves the edge.

    A perfect example of this is Tazza. This YouTube video didn't show how they dragged Tazza into the big room. It didn't show how they got rid of Tazza's allies. The video skipped to the part where they began swinging their weapons at Tazza.

    I think Tazza is harder than most champs? Right? Wrong? But I'm using her as a principle that YouTube videos dont always show the entire process.

    Another perfect example of my experience not matching theirs is I was fighting with 2 people against Megalodon and I swear the player who stayed alive wasn't moving in any fancy acrobatic way and even when I try to replicate their kiting the barest nudge on my smooth skin, when the shark swims past my graceful form takes away most of my health.

    I can even be interrupted the moment I get within range.

    I know what kiting is, and half the champs are in confined spaces. How in the kitten do people kite on this piece of driftwood here? Okay full on exaggerating.

    I'm full on willing to accept that this is a me only problem. But I know that this problem is real and valid for me.

    Which is why I'm hoping that if I just play for fun, one day it will click. I'm hoping that 'time + practice' is the cure, because observation + analysis isn't working for me. If observation + analysis is what is required for me to solo champs I might as well accept that it's a goal out of my reach. Because for some reason my brain just isn't picking up the visual cues that well. I was extremely below average in the visual areas of a test I did as a teenager, not an online made up one. One that psychologists gave me, because I was struggling in school. So that could explain half my struggle.

    Is it wrong that I want to feel BAMF and not like a faceroller? Is it wrong that I want the personal satisfaction of knowing I did that myself? Is it wrong that I can rely on myself if everybody else is in the middle of something?

    Is it weird that I feel fomo that other people can solo champs and I can't?

    Me and my friend are searching for a english/german speaking raidgroup.

    I have experience on almost every boss (except quadim fights) and over 500 li. I have pretty much every class.

    My friend is kinda new to raiding but got wing 1-4 down pretty quickly. he has a druid , qfb and pdps thief and around 50 li.

    Something strange happened

    Hey everyone,

    I was minding my business in the Grove, when something... bizarre happened.Some guy appeared out of nowhere in a aetheral form... He was marked as an ennemy champion and people could attack him.

    He was shaped like a Charr but i don't understand. He was talking about the fact he was an anomaly and that he knew secrets and was able to teach them but "there was too many bad people there".

    Then, he appeared as a player and fled the place...

    Is that something from the new extension ? What was that guy/thing ? I just want to know if someone know what it was, because I don't know and it's driving me crazy.

    How can someone be marked as an ennemy champion in a city ? I thought it was impossible.

    Was it a bug ? RP ?

    Do I have to care ?
