hello, i am a new player, i just got the nightfall campaign as i heard it is the best beginner campaign. I think it looks very cool and am excited to try it. im looking to see if any1 wants to play with me or visit in game or anything:)

Anything close to GW1?

I know it's been constantly asked but I'm looking for something with some traits of GW1 not a copy.

Anyone know one that has at least the majority of:

character customization
Open world
weapons that are similar to GW style where you can find max level weapons of all skins so you can pick the weapon based on looks and not so much on which one is "stronger"
Armor isn't completely RNG and similar to weapons where all Armor is basically the same aside from looks
Lots of end of game content (I was really big on maxing titles in GW1) and not just grinding for RNG drops
Multiplayer compatibility but can 100% be beaten and mostly played in general solo throughout

Bonus points if it's on PS4.

Don't mind if it's a hack n slash or shooting game and not a "build" type of game. The thing I miss about prime GW1 was maxing titles and finding weapons/getting elite armors. Storyline doesn't really matter either, I just like having goals to achieve in game. PvP would be cool too.

Games I've played that people have suggested before and couldn't get into:

WoW
GW2
Path of Exile
Elder Scrolls Online (although, I didn't give it a fair shot, might try again) I've played Diablo3 and really enjoyed it but it got boring just grinding finding RNGs and Gems not really much to do other than that.

Any insight is appreciated.

Planning Game Path again (Beginner/some say Noob)

I've fallen out of love with my first plan to play the 4 sections in order of publishing, to get the feel of the original(s).

I accidentally dipped into the Eye of the North (no, really, I took a quest without thinking and ended up with the Norns), I enjoyed it as far as I wanted to go, terrific experience, and picked up some Heroes on the way to go back to Prophecies with. Which I kind of like, although not very authentic ... still, just a game, right?

Now I am leaning towards taking my first character, a Ranger, through (the latter portions of) Factions and Nightfall and end up finishing off Eye of the North. (and spitting in the eye of those lofty bastards who demand more Norny work on my part before they will do anything I need :-)

My secondary plan is to start new characters in Factions, Nightfall and EOTN on an ad hoc basis, for a change and to try out new type professions as they came along in the day. Seems a more interesting way to experience at least a sense of the overall game in a first run through.

Only problem being, I can't figure out, if I slide into Factions and/or Nightfall from Lion's Arch, where in these campaigns do I land? How much of each campaign do I miss?

The Ranger will obviously never see these chunks (unless I can somehow travel back to the very beginning of each later, which feels a bit weird).

Is there plenty of gameplay in these missed early portions to keep the new characters/professions busy for a good time, before they reach the point where the Ranger started? If in fact it works that way? Is anything so crucial as to wreck my plan? Will my wife divorce me around about the middle of Nightfall?

I'm sorry for the beginner/nerdy type questions, just seeking more info to make an informed decision.

Maybe there is an absolutely easy way to gain this knowledge which I have missed, in the wiki or elsewhere, maybe a kind steer would be possible?

My account has been hacked again

I have never bought items from a third party seller or shared my account. I haven't played in over a year and wanted to play again, I do this for about a month every year or so. When I try to get in my credentials do not work. This is the second time this has happened to me.

I have over 10,000 hours on this game and so many memories playing this. This account has so much value to me. I'm not rich by no means ingame, but I have so much attached to these characters. This account is priceless to me. This is so disheartening. I have put in a support ticket but it is still a bummer. I hate this, I am shaking over a game.

I just wanted to complain.
