Posted: 28 Dec 2019 01:00 AM PST So I know the significance of the tragic story of Tybalt Leftpaw. His sacrifice in the battle of claw island will never be forgotten. But the question I have is why out of the three mentors who have done the sacrifice, Tybalt is the one that is most significant. No one really gives Forgal or Sieran the same treatment. Hell, Tybalt is a mist champion in PvP. Is it because people like Tybalt's character? Is it because a lot of people chose the order of the whispers? Is it because of Tybalt's backstory draws a level of sympathy compared to the other two? Or does everyone just agree that Tybalt was the one who made the sacrifice to prevent confusion? All this talk is making me crave some apples. [link] [comments]

Is the Rubicon gear set worth buying with Karma points? Posted: 28 Dec 2019 02:01 AM PST This is my first time posting on this subreddit. I've been playing GW2 for about 2 months now and I've been level 80 for less than a month, still working my way through the regions, now nearing Ascalon. I'm using the Free to play version of the game without expansions. I currently have just under 300k Karma points and I'm still very new to gear, since the game is so vast and I'm still finding my way around it. But I saw that some Ruins of Orr Karma merchants sell level 80 Exotic gear sets called Rubicon, Armageddon, etc. And I was wondering if they're worth getting. I have eyes on the Infiltration set, which gives Power and Precision set bonuses. I should note that I'm a Ranger. I should also note that I don't do dungeons often, mostly because I'm still pre-occupied with exploring all the regions and fully completing them (I only have Frostgorge Sound left before I move to Ascalon). Can someone let me know if that's a worthy purchase or is there a better gear set that I can buy with Karma points (excluding crafting recipes for better gear)? [link] [comments]
Q: Silverwaste/Gold farm bag opening Posted: 28 Dec 2019 08:09 AM PST What bags should you open on a lv49-53 character and which should be opened on a 80? I've looked around and seen posts saying that most bags now give Unidentified gear even if opened on a level 50, however I've opened every single bag I've found on a 50 and all of those give me 50 ish gear. Should I open exotic bags like the SW Embroidered Coin Purse on a lv80 for the bonus silver and bloodstone dust it gives? [link] [comments]
Pepperseed esocrt event bugged Posted: 28 Dec 2019 04:02 AM PST Hey everyone. This is my first time posting something on the gw2 reddit. I've started the Vision collection about 2 weeks ago and ran into the problem with thunderhead keep with the achievment for it "Vision of action" Where you need to escort Pepperseed to the ruins for it to be completed. The problem i have with this achievment is that the event is bugged for over a week already. After all events are finished supply foreman Alan still tells me Wasmaa has not finished her business at Melody's Rest after doing the kill the forgotten branded event 2 minutes ago. Is there something i can do to fix this. I already send out a ticket saying the event is bugged [link] [comments]
Lore: Let's talk about the elephant in the lore that just vanished: the great hero of GW1. Posted: 27 Dec 2019 09:22 AM PST What happened to them? We already know about so many GW1 heroes and that some just namelessly settled down and had a calm life but the protagonist just vanished. Admitted they have been a bit of age since they didn't change a bit while Gwen grew up from 6 to 21 but I highly doubt they just let everything happen. What happened? [link] [comments]

Posted: 28 Dec 2019 03:20 AM PST It has now been 381 days since shattered aegis was nerfed, and every day that passes spirals the game into depravity once again. The upcoming Q1 balance patch must adress this issue, or the negative aegis ions will continue to counteract the empowered arenanet ions and cause a karmic retribution upon us all. Posted: 27 Dec 2019 10:09 PM PST I played GW2 almost from launch, nearly exclusively playing an Engineer, and always hated the fact that templates didn't exist. I held out until HOT and when I saw they weren't being added I quit. About once a year I would check to see if they had been added back to the game, and I checked a few weeks ago and saw they were in. So I promptly purchased POF. Here is my conundrum. I want to unlock masteries, get a mount, and use elite specs outside of pvp (and hero points are SO SLOW). I also want to do this in a way that doesn't spoil the story. I am about half way through season 2 and it is very frustrating see everyone else on mounts and also being annoyed at constantly have a message to unlock masteries (seriously, it covers nearly the entire chat window telling me to train it). Is there any way to do all of this without jumping ahead in the story? All hero point farms seem to assume you have a mount. [link] [comments]
WvW how is it now? What's the meta? Posted: 27 Dec 2019 06:25 PM PST So, I haven't played Gw2 for about 2 years. Played from lunch to 2017. I came back with a few friend. I used to play an Elementalist Heal, speed, boon build for WvW. Now, I've notice there are Mounts which goes way faster than permanant swiftness. I've looked around online and I can't find post that are new on the topic. Can CC force a dismount? Is Roaming dead? Does swiftness boost mount speed or is it pointless now? what is the meta like? For large group pvp? [link] [comments] |
