    Raid-Noob looking for Raid-Noobs to raid.

    I love the idea of raids. Getting together with a group of friends to face mighty oponents that at first feel unbeatable until you figured out the how they are beaten, then practicing the mechanics until they come together like a dance to then finally get the kill. Reality sadly, especially for a beginner, usually looks much different. You mostly mindlessly follow the calls of a - understandibly so - bored out of his mind raidleader, waiting to get carried by the veteran players in the squad, who somehow do more than twice the dps you do with the same gear. You probably even die to some dumbass mechanic and they finish the fight without you. You couldn't feel more useless. Long story short, I am looking for new but ambitious players with little to no raid experience, like me, that see the fun in figuring out raids by themselves. So if anyone ist interested hit me up and let's see how far we get. (I am on eu)

    [NA] Monthly Heart of Thorns Map Completion Train

    Another month has come and gone, and it's time for another monthly map completion event!

    On Saturday, December 11 at 10:00 AM PST (UTC-8), I will be leading a map completion train through all of Heart of Thorns on the NA megaserver. No waypoints, mounts, or masteries are needed aside from the ones listed below. We will be covering the entirety of base Heart of Thorns, including hero points, mastery points, strongboxes, waypoints, points of interest, vistas, jumping puzzles, and hidden achievements. Yes, you read that right. EVERYTHING.

    For the train, please make sure you have:

    • Shipwreck Peak Waypoint, [&BN4HAAA=]

    • Basic gliding (will get you 95% of map completion)

    • The ability to read

    • A pleasant attitude!

    Tentative Itinerary for the Day (in PDT time)

    • 10:00 - 10:30 AM . Preparation and introduction to the train [Giveaway]

    • 10:30 - 12:30 PM . Verdant Brink map completion + night bosses.

    • 12:30 - 1:00 PM . Break time, preparation for Auric Basin [Giveaway]

    • 1:00 - 3:00 PM . Auric Basin map completion.

    • 3:00 - 3:30 PM . Break time, preparation for Tangled Depths. [Giveaway]

    • 3:30 - 5:30 PM . Tangled Depths map completion.

    • 5:30 - 6:00 PM . Break time, preparation for Dragon's Stand. [Giveaway]

    • 6:00 - 6:30 PM . Dragon's Stand map completion (unlocked portion of the map).

    • 6:30 - 7:00 PM . Event wrap-up and final giveaway of Community Chest codes.[Giveaway]

    This will be a full day event, so you are welcome to hop in and out. I will be trying to keep the map as full as possible with overflow squads, but I can't guarantee you a spot if everything fills. This event will also be live-streamed at https://www.twitch.tv/emidotexe. Swing by, say hi even if you're not on the train! I'll be answering most questions there; plus, it might be helpful to have it on in the background since I tend to give warnings/information during the train itself.

    I will be playing on my Chrono 'Emi Nyaa'. Squad will be up at 9 PDT exact. The first 10 minutes will be reserved for whisper invites only. Once it hits XX:10, the squad will be up in LFG → Heart of Thorns → Verdant Brink. Everything is on a first-come-first-serve basis, so getting there early will ensure you have a spot in the squads.

    Vindicator dodge and the mists

    I recently started playing Revenant and noticed that everything on the profession is done through the mists, even dodging happens through the mists. Which of course is the whole point and makes the theme.

    So my question is, why Vindicator just jumps up without any mist effects? That's kinda boring for a Revenant. I actually haven't tried Vindicator, but afaik it just jumps.

    Can someone please tell me how to counter fear spamming core Necro? It's appearing in almost every game I play now and I can only stun break so many time. It seems to have 0 tell and can hit from so far away. It's just insanely annoying to put up with all the time.
