    How to solo kill a thief?

    Especially when your skill cannot apply reveal, I used to play reaper in pvp, which does not have reveal skill, it's really annoying to deal with those thieives trying to steal point by myself. I can only passively wait them to give me a strike and try to hit something on them before they enter stealth again.

    I also play sb roamer in WvW, here I have sic'em(35s cd) for reveal, but when against deadeye, they have shadow meld with 2 charges that can remove revealed status(recharge in 45s), so even though now I have reveal, still I can do nothing but wait for strike from thieves passively, while damage from their stealth attack is fking high. It is true that I can hit them hard, but it's even harder to successfully land my hit on thieves, given I can not see nor target them, thieves can easily disappear no matter what I do.

    Snowblind Challenge mote location

    Hey Guys,

    I'v been trying to find this challenge mote for a day or 2 since it's the last thing I need for ad infinitum 2.. but I cannot find it at all..

    I do remember in the good old days we used to spawn ontop of the hill, is it possible the challenge mote spawns up there?

    so that would mean it's bugged?

    Come on Anet Revenant's Soulcleave's Summit was way Over-Nerfed. Its useless now to use

    Anet you really have killed a major part of the Renegade legend, which was its Lifesteal support and fast attacks. Othet than that its legend is pretty much useless now in PvE and Any form of PvP (Structured or World). Come on now. The energy cost of this need to go way way way down and an additional effect needs to be added to this.

    Better yet Swap out Soulcleave's Summit for Citadel Bombardment or Order From Above, because either of those would make better elite skill than this current version of Soulcleave's Summit.

    Old IBS elite spec ideas.

    I had some left over ideas from when i though IBS was going somewhere. Frozen north thematics.

    Warrior-Focus. Seer.

    Armed with ancient Jotun knowledge, Seers channel a protective barrier around a friendly target that absorbs a small dmg % and buffs the caster whole doing it.

    Guardian-Off-hand Mace. Collosus.

    Followers of Aesgir that traded their flames for frost. Heavy focus on vulnerability and frost condition combos.

    Revenant-No Clue. I don't know this class.

    Ranger-Shield. Warden.

    The spirits of the wilds blessed them to protect against the icebrood. Tank with dmg mitigation and boons from pets.

    Thief-Warhorn. Windcaller.

    Ancient monk order that uses the frigid storms to their advantage. Movement speed boons and condition that focus heavily on dodging in certain patterns to create different attacks.

    Engineer-Scepter. Ambusher.

    Using their inginuity and the unforgiving cold around them, the engineer crafts a scepter to heat the air, creating a thick mist. He gains access to stealth for him and his devious traps and turrets.

    Necromancer-Longbow. Stalker.

    Empowered by Zhaitans release of death magic, a reclusive tribe managed to imbue necromantic into their hunting bows for devastating effect. A single target dmg spec that juggles with dmg and boons depending on the targets hp %.

    Elementalist-Hammer. Shaper

    The north is a frozen wasteland and anyone wanting to survive here has to adapt, except for the shapers. Smiting their elementaly imbued hammers into the ground, they control and adapt the battlefield to their liking. Lots of combo fields and abilities that interact with them.

    Mesmer-Daggers. Bloodletter.

    Not everyone finds a right way to survive the cold and eventually turn on each other. With distracting illusions and sharp blades, the bloodletter and their illusions deliver a thousand cuts that stack bleed conditions and heal them and their phantasms in the process.

    Is there any gift with expansion pre-order?

    Hello,

    I assume we will be able to pre-order End of Dragons, however I was not following Guild Wars 2 when the previous expansions were introduced. So I have no clue what to expect, was there any additional content (GEMS or whatever) for pre-ordering?

    I know ArenaNet does not have to follow the same rule for this new expansion but I wanted an overview of what I could hope for.

    I am once again offering free coaching to anyone Platinum 1 and below for Conquest / General class mechanics. This should help you be more effective in 5v5 matches, as well as help you in WvW roaming if you are so inclined!

    Just hit level 80, what should I buy with 4000 gems?

    There seems to be so much stuff to buy with gems I'm not sure what to go for. I haven't bought anything from the gem store yet, but obviously LW2 is free right now so I don't need to buy that.

    If I bought 4000 gems, what would be the most optimal order of things to buy with it? Including story/LW as well as QoL.

    Hello GW2 community!

    Party Commander's Party Command (PCPC) is a NA-based public Raid Training and Static formation Discord server. No guild attached!

    PCPC melds the best of GW2 Raid Training discords past in a single, friendly place.

    What we Offer

    • Scheduled and unscheduled trainings for all wings. This covers all 7 wings and even Challenge Motes, either directly posted to the scheduler channel or as an impromptu event run by an official PCPC trainer.
    • Ping control. Want to be notified of Wing 2 Trainings? Assign yourself the W2 role to turn pings on. Don't want to hear about W2 anymore? Remove the role!
    • Meta strategy and composition training. All builds are referenced to current SnowCrows and LuckyNoobs builds and compositions. We teach the strategies every raider is expected to know. You'll be able to use what you learn directly on LFG or in a static!
    • A laissez-faire training atmosphere. No graduation or wing gating! Want to jump straight into Wing 4? Go ahead. W5? Grab a SC/LN build, hit a golem, and get in there.
    • Automated signup for scheduled raids with reminders. No more racing to a voice channel or hawking for pings. Just react to a posted event, get a message from the bot, and you're good! The bot also pings you with a reminder 10 minutes before the event starts.
    • A learning environment. The whole point is to learn! Whether it's a new role, new encounter, or a first-timer, we're here to help you learn the skills for success. Approach with an open mind and you're sure to grow.
    • Static formation tools. Want to form a static? There's a role and channel for that. Looking and want to see advertisements? There's a role and channel for that too! This includes an "Experienced" role to assist veteran players in recruiting experienced players, assigned automatically on a combined 450 LI/LD.
    • Dedicated question channels. There's places to discuss GW2, Raiding, and even specific roles! It's an open place to discuss rotations, builds, metas, and anything else related to GW2 Raiding.

    Server Rules

    • Be nice. We are a constructive and friendly environment. Jokes are fine, toxicity and trolling are not. If it's not allowed in the GuildWars2 reddit, it's not allowed at PCPC.
    • Bring a Raid meta build. It's important to learn the right behaviors with the right tools. Raid composition matters and meta is meta for a reason. SnowCrows and LuckyNoobs are fantastic resources maintained by dedicated community experts and serve as the basis for all PCPC trainings. Raiding is fundamentally a completely different experience from the rest of GW2 and we reserve the right to kick players who are unwilling to adapt to the metas.
    • Be accepting of criticism. Identifying and correcting a problem is fundamental to raiding. For trainers to help, you as an individual must also be able to accept criticism from others to grow. Raiding is as much a group effort as an individual responsibility.

    How to Join

    To join, head to the Discord Server and assign yourself the Member role. From there you have access to raids, the scheduler and more!

    Want to Train or Help?

    We're always looking for capable trainers and community help.

    • Experienced players can assign themselves the EXP_Help role to fill in training runs, though we do ask exp players to give priority to trainees.
    • Players with the Experienced role can also apply to be Trainers or Trainers in Training. This allows you to post to the scheduler bot and lead trainings as an official PCPC trainer!
