I cried at the end. It's just... not fair! I hoped, I really really REALLY hoped SO MUCH that I'm eventually going to save Trahearne. Even his wording "Caladbolg is the only thing that can save me" - yes, Trahearne, I will gladly spend the next 50 years carving you out of that tree by hand with a big-ass sword if that's what it takes to save you. I'm going to miss him a lot. Seeing Tybalt in the final fight also hurt me in my meow meow. I just needed to vent the feelings somewhere. | Anyone else annoyed with the new boon cap? Posted: 28 May 2021 06:06 AM PDT I expected to see a lot more conversation about this, but capping boons at 30 seconds is way too strict. GW2 just does not have a good UI for support - likely due to the original promise of "no more DPS/tank/healer trinity" that they've now reneged on - and this 30s cap makes a bad experience worse. Posted: 28 May 2021 01:00 AM PDT In many DPS-based builds the suggested sigils are Force (5% dmg) and Impact (7% dmg against stunned/knocked-down foes, 3% dmg). I know there are a ton of other sigils that are 7% against specific foes, 3% against all (and those are cheap). So what makes the Sigil of Impact so much better? Does a boss enemy with a broken defiance bar count as stunned? Are the 7%/3% cumulative, giving a 10% dmg boost against stunned foes? [link] [comments] | ||

| Unlocking mastery system without doing any story content Posted: 27 May 2021 07:12 PM PDT On the wiki it mentions how you need to do a story mission from one of the expansions to unlock the mastery system, but I've just found out that if you do a strike mission and get an achievement that awards an icebrood saga mastery point, you unlock your core Tyria mastery track as well as the icebrood one. Probably not relevant to most people, but I'm happy I can start working on the core masteries without having to spoil the story for myself as I haven't completed living world season two yet and didn't want to start on the expansions until that was done. Now it takes a bit to the first login with your first character after a fresh start of GW2, however, leaving from game to login screen to log in on another character takes forever now. Since I have an estimated 2439635638976 characters I will die of old age if I want to log in trough them. my google-fu is severely lacking but I didn't find any obvious reports of this problem yet. Anyone else the same problems or know what it possible is related to? I even tried deactivating Firewall and turned of AV altogether but no change in behavior. [link] [comments] | ||

Posted: 28 May 2021 03:04 AM PDT just opinions of course, I'd love to rea your ideas for this.For me a few would be: -Finally a way to hide others' skills and maybe infusions too, and pets. -more customization with combat info and UI (damage numbers, AoE alerts, etc.) -more camera customization, let us go closer to out character's face for instance and more it around more freely. Also some sort of photo studio where you coul play with pause poses, and lights, -more UI customization in general, move things around , change colors, etc. -ingame info about various world event timers. -a way to be able to check all skins without needing to go to the bank each time, and every time you select a skin (or mouseover it) some info on how to get it that's what's on my mind for now, what would you like? | I know it’s not optimal, but looking for a healing Druid WvW Zerg build Posted: 28 May 2021 03:48 AM PDT Hey guys, I main the medium armor classes for the most part in this game, and mostly roam or do small scale in WvW. However, when my guild does organized fights, I almost always play support Scrapper. I want to try and play heal/immob Druid for when I'm in a zerg and things aren't as important in terms of comp. I tried to make a few builds, but it seems like Celestial Avatar is a big problem in terms of up time… I feel like it probably should just be a mode switch, with the skills having slightly increased cool downs, but I digress… Anyway, I know it's possible to make this viable since, when I do get going, the heals and cleanses are actually really good - not enough to disrupt the meta, but definitely fine for casual use. And the inherent immobs it can drop can actually make an impact if coordinated with your group. Can someone please provide a good build / guide to being successful in this class at this role? Thanks!
