| Can anyone help me get to Grendich courthouse? Posted: 19 Oct 2020 09:34 PM PDT I always die when I try to do this quest "Garfazz Bloodfang" and "Althea's Ashes", so when I get a death penalty, I can zone into an outpost. But I always die. So can anyone help? [link] [comments] |
| Posted: 19 Oct 2020 11:12 PM PDT The completionist in me has started eyeing the Skill Hunter achievements. As I'd like to work on it over time (and not grind it out) I was looking for a guide or tracking document and my google searches came up empty, mostly. There's plenty of resources for how to approach it (love the wiki) but comments about tracking always ended up with "I just made a spreadsheet" or "I just wrote it down". So I started work on this Google Sheet to help me keep track of the task without grinding it out. As you can see it's not complete (Location/Boss Name is still empty). I'm not sure what other information is pertinent for ease of completion, and am looking for your input. Also, if there's any interest in publishing this for duplication/personal use, I'm sure there's some QoL stuff that I'm forgetting about. Cheers, [link] [comments] |

GW was my first introduction into large-scale MMO's (Runescape notwithstanding) and I've been dreaming about playing again for years. I only recently found out the servers are up again after hearing they were closed down years ago. I'm just really, really excited. It's been such a long time and I fucking love this game so much. | Why isn't everyone in this game constantly buying feathers and dust? Posted: 20 Oct 2020 03:24 AM PDT 1 stack of feathers is easily bought for 12k, 1 stack of dust for 5k. This means to craft 1 BU costs (12k/5 + 5k/5 + 750) = 4150 ==> 250 BU = 1037500 = 100e. A stack of BU is then easily sold for 125-140e in kamadan. Meaning with very little effort you can profit 25-40%. Why is seemingly no one doing this? I just made and sold 2 stacks of BU but it feels like I must be missing something. | Posted: 19 Oct 2020 01:17 PM PDT I've seen this posting a few times in Kamadan. Players will list that they are trading GW1 ectos for GW2 gold. On one hand, this sets off my scam radar pretty hard. Obviously between games there's no way to systematically agree to trade, they could take the gold and never send ectos. On the other hand, this totally seems like something people would be interested in doing - someone who is "done" with GW1 might want to offload their items for currency in GW2, which creates a mutually beneficial situation for an established GW2 player coming to GW1 for HoM points. At most I've messaged a few traders asking them to clarify the details of the trade and have gotten no responses. This doesn't inspire confidence, but is also not unheard of for Kamadan listers. So - does anyone have any experience with this? Is it legit or a known scam? If scammed, does Anet support investigate this kind of thing (chat logs for evidence)? I'm sure support for GW1 is minimal but flagging an account for gold scamming in GW2 might still get support's attention. [link] [comments] |
