The Community

A discord with all the speedrun-focused players in one spot. We're here to answer any questions you have about getting in to speedrunning as well as give advice. We also hope that like-minded players will be able to use our community to find people to speedrun with. If you are interested in speedrunning, come in and give it a shot!

Not interested in speedrunning yourself, but like watching them? New speedruns are announced in the discord so you will never miss one.

The Website

You may have heard of this site a long time ago when Roca first announced it. The speedrun.com page has been completely reworked and is up-to-date. It is the central hub of speedruns, featuring all records in one convenient spot along with the community's rules for runs. I encourage you to submit your guild's personal bests. Please refer to the discord for learning how to use the site.

The Competitions

We will be hosting a few competitions to start off with. We have a little something for everyone here. Depending on the success, there may be more. If you would like to donate to increase the prize pool of these competitions, or potentially contribute to an additional competition (5-man fractal/dungeon!?), let us know.

Fractal Duos - 15.6k gold prize pool

At the end of every month, both players with first place for each fractal duo leaderboard will earn 50g each. This will be done for 6 months minimum; meaning if you get a record and hold on to it for 6 months, one run earned you 300g! There are 26 eligible leaderboards, meaning there will be plenty of opportunities to compete. This competition is structured as multiple smaller monthly rewards rather than one big reward for the competition to be more interactive. Runs will still be held until the end of each month, but this should not be an issue past the first month. This competition is effective immediately. Want to participate but can't find a partner? Join the discord and ask around!

Rules:

The winning entry will be the fastest run submitted to speedrun.com for each eligible leaderboard.
Runs must follow the leaderboard's rules to be accepted. Duo is considered a restricted category.
The deadline for submissions is the final day of the month in UTC-4. You can submit them ahead of time and they will be kept secret until the final day.
Eligible leaderboards: All duo runs under the categories: "Fractals", "Nightmare CM", "Shattered Observatory CM"
This means for 99 and 100 CM there are prizes for not only the whole fractal, but also for each boss.

A short paraphrasing of the important rules of the leaderboard is: You are allowed to use strength booster only if you are not fractal god/champion. You are not allowed to use any gem store items or costume brawl (exe axe, choya tonic, instruments, other combat boosters). You are allowed to use consumables such as cc, stealth, etc. No out of bounds (aka most crazy skips). No busted exploits. Most usual bugs are allowed.

If you are competing, I encourage you to read the full in-depth rules on the site. Please ask in the discord or direct message me on discord if you would like an interpretation of the rules, especially regarding specific situations.

Super Adventure Box Raffle - 2,250 gold prize pool

For each of the 6 zones, a winner will be randomly chosen from the top 5 players. This is done to give people more of a chance to win so 1 person does not dominate. Prizes will be 250g for world 1 zones and 500g for world 2 zones! Runs must be completed on Tribulation mode. Only runs marked "current" will be considered, meaning they must be from this year.

The Return of the Raiding League - 1,500 gold monthly prize pool

Every month, we will be hosting a competition for casuals and elitists alike. Silver league will be judging your best completion of 2 raid bosses within 1 hour for each. The bosses are announced at the beginning of the week for you to practice, and you must start an official timer in discord when you want your attempt to start. This will be not only a test of speedrunning, but also a test of consistency. Even the top teams might not get their best time within their hour window. Silver league is meant to encourage guilds to get into speedrunning and as such, well-known speedrunning guilds are banned. Gold league will feature the top speedrunning guilds facing each other LIVE to see who can clear 1 wing the fastest.
