Date your Guildmates and Donate to Charity: Jempire Dating Simulator is available now! Posted: 03 Apr 2020 09:56 AM PDT Inspired by the world of Guild Wars 2, "Jempire Dating Simulator" is a Visual Novel fan game that puts you in the role of a guild officer with 100,000 gold coins up for grabs. "Synergize" with the members of your guild to win the cash as you experience Guild Wars 2 Raids, World Versus World, Roleplaying, and more! Do you have what it takes to win the contest and the gold? Or will you give it all up in pursuit of an entirely different ending? Developed by a team of avid Guild Wars 2 players, our programming, artwork, writing, music and more was created by a small guild team of about 10 people over a period of ~6 months. The story is lighthearted, and intended to put a smile on your face as you play. If you enjoy the game, we hope you'll consider donating to Extra Life - they're a wonderful charity doing a ton of good for kids in hospitals that desperately need it. We're linked in to support Team ArenaNet, and you can find both the game and Extra Life pages below. Thanks for reading, and we hope you enjoy the game! [link] [comments]
Posted: 03 Apr 2020 06:29 AM PDT Soulbeast is busted. The previous record was 1:03, and 6 seconds is a lot of dps when the fight is this short. We precast One Wolf Pack stance share and swapped the trait off for free 10% damage. At first, we brought 2 dragonhunters for their healing capabilities with elite signet and virtues. We then realized that soulbeast actually doesn't need a healer to maintain scholar, so we just brought more soulbeasts. We precast healing springs off the group so that they would prioritize giving regen to the spirit, otherwise it would die without a healer. Also, we did not use moa stance because soulbeast does such ridiculous dps that it is not worth the sacrifice. Here are all of our 0:57 logs: Here is a 0:58 log with DH: PoVs: Thank you to Lunar for coming as DH before we realized we needed to replace him with soulbeast, and thank you to Reckoner for coming to an early 1:05 kill. Posted: 03 Apr 2020 08:33 AM PDT Hello there, we know that everyone has seen enough Firebrands but we swear that this is completely different. This composition was born out of the idea of skipping the Pyre Guardians and beating the, now former, all-time record by Snow Crows, which seemed impossible after the changes to Winds of Disenchantment. Theoretically, all we needed was a way to survive against Retaliation and still deal enough damage despite permanent uptime of Protection on Qadim. Log — https://dps.report/2z5g-20200402-225535_qadim
We knew from the start that we would need at least two Daredevils so that they could bring Shadow Portals and clear the lamp in a timely manner, but otherwise wanted to keep the amount of power-based professions to a minimum. Additionally, they provided almost all necessary boons through Detonate Plasma, which were amplified by the Soulbeast's Moa Stance. The Renegade was responsible for Alacrity, and assisted with sustain through Breakrazor's Bastion and Soulcleave's Summit during the burn phases. The Berserker turned out to be ideal for kiting purposes as the Daredevils were already otherwise occupied. We filled the remaining slots with Firebrands because of their high condition damage in a rather short burn window, while they also had easy access to sustain through Litany of Wrath, Shining River, Eternal Oasis and Bow of Truth. Of course there are more little details we could elaborate on, but we don't necessarily want to slap you with a dissertation about how we approached this boss. The videos and their descriptions will hopefully give you a better scope on how everything came together. Just know that this has been an amazing project from start to finish and we hope you will enjoy this as much as we did. ~ CnD [link] [comments]

"Tower Down" story quest still broken 8 years later Posted: 03 Apr 2020 02:12 PM PDT Demolitionist Tonn is still at it girls and boys. Makes it 2/3 of the way through the quest and then refuses to progress. You have to admire the sheer tenaciousness of an NPC able and willing to lock down story progression for nearly a decade. It never occurred to me that an easily repeatable story quest breaking bug that was present in 2012 would still be in game today or I would've gone through and cleared the map before talking to him. This is ridiculous. [link] [comments]
I suck at this game and I need help Posted: 03 Apr 2020 05:15 AM PDT Okay, time to tell my story. What I've done so far: I have a Warrior level 80, I chose the elite spezialization Berserker because.. honestly, someone told me I should so yeah. I unlocked about 60% of the Spellbreaker. Discovered around 60% of the central Tyria map. Unlocked the Raptor and the Springer mount. And I have the glider from Heart of Thorns (but I didn't level it yet at all, and tbh I don't like Heart of Thorns much, so I don't want to continue that for some time, if that's possible). My damage with the Warrior really sucks. At least I think so. And I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I tried to look at build guides online, but pretty much all of them suggest me ascended gear which I simply don't have. Even other equipment which is way too expensive or I have no clue how to obtain it or where to start. I'm running around with a broadsword and 2 maces offhand. Just finished the 4th Path of Fire story mission and I plan to continue that (because honestly, not sure what else to do). I tried to look at a gold guide online. It said with~100k karma I can make around 9-10 gold, which is really not that much, but yes, at least it is something. I only have 150k karma though, and I feel like I should rather keep it.. I don't know how else to make gold. Any advice? I'm afraid of participating in fractals or wvw, even dungeons are a bit of a problem because my dmg isn't as high as I'd like it to be. I must be doing something wrong, really. I joined a (german) guild yesterday, but even in there the majority of people have unlocked so much more than me and they seem to be so experienced already.. and I'm just lost and feel like I'm not getting the help I need. I need advice on what to do and how to progress, because I feel like I am stuck. Should I continue to unlock the Tyria map? Is it even worth it? I don't think I'm able to unlock 100% yet, anyway. Or is it possible to discover the whole map with the 2 mounts I have available? I'd love to participate in pvp matches. Can I even do that already? Or do I need better gear for that? And I also feel like I'm a bit burned out with the story missions. I need a break from them. To me they are more of a chore and not that much fun. I'd rather love to do something in a group than running around alone all the time, but for that I simply feel too weak and it frustrates me.. [link] [comments]
Posted: 03 Apr 2020 12:58 PM PDT Is it just me or does the Rifle Skin and Shortbow Skin catalog seem lacking compared to the other weapons in the game? Was going through the TP on the weapons and skins for these weapons, and not a lot of exciting choices compared to the other weapons. I can understand that those two weapon choices dont really see much play time when compared to other weapons overall in terms of class choices, but still something could still be done to make some quality skins for them. Phantaram's Lightning Rod Weaver pvp specialization spotlight for season 21 Posted: 02 Apr 2020 05:26 PM PDT https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1LYx5TFNjlE Hey everyone! Not a super in-depth guide here but I give some options for what I consider optimal Lightning Rod weaver builds for this season. I've been playing these builds with my team competitively and in solo queue and it works great everywhere. Currently hovering in the top 20s of ratings but I'm sure if I pushed hard enough I could be top 10. It's very strong. This is the strongest weaver build currently and in my opinion a lot of fun. Having or not having the super speed trait in the air traitline is what makes or breaks weaver for me in terms of fun and I think you'll think the same if you practice and play this spec a lot. Absolute blast. Thanks for watching and I hope I helped out :) [link] [comments]

It would be cool if we could craft lesser Chatoyant Elixers Posted: 02 Apr 2020 06:14 PM PDT This whole April fools joke is pretty cool, and it would be a shame if it went away forever. So maybe it would be cool to add a lesser Chatoyant Elixer which grants "Confers True Sight (Feline)" but doesn't give might cats or the 20%+ xp. It would be a great recipe for Artificer and the ingredients could be: Cheeseburger + Milk + Tiger's Eye Pebble (a gem with chatoyancy) + Bauble (so you still need April to see this joke). Idk what others think but I think it would be a nice way to keep the joke for future players. [link] [comments]
THE PILGRIMAGE ACROSS TYRIA (N.A.) Heart of Thorns / Path of Fire Edition April 4th, 5th. Posted: 03 Apr 2020 02:59 PM PDT The Pilgrimage across Tyria: Map completion(ish) social event hosted by Me (Brother Drake) and my guild [RPcd] This event is open to anyone interested. We'll be doing the HoT/PoF. It is NOT 100% map completion its more around 65-85% of each map we do. Example we don't do the hearts mostly due to time constraints. I'll try to only use the basic masteries needed to do so. Playing to the assumption that not everyone has everything. April 4th 9 am PST/ 10 am MST/ 11 am CST/ 12 pm EST/ 4 pm UTC Verdant Brink, Auric Basin, Tangled Depths, Dragon's Stand April 5th 9 am PST/ 10 am MST/ 11 am CST/ 12 pm EST/ 4 pm UTC Crystal Oasis, Desert Highlands, Elon Riverlands, The Desolation, and Domain of Vabbi. Reminder, I don't use an overlay or a Taco I do this all straight from memory. So don't be surprised if you see me stop and go. "Uh, I don't know where I am." [link] [comments]

[NA] Monthly Heart of Thorns Map Completion Train Posted: 02 Apr 2020 11:16 AM PDT Hello again /r/guildwars2! On Saturday, April 4 at 12:00 PM CDT (UTC-5, Reset-7), I will be leading a map completion train through all of Heart of Thorns on the NA megaserver. No waypoints, mounts, or masteries needed aside from the ones listed below. We will be covering the ENTIRETY of base Heart of Thorns, including hero points, mastery points, strongboxes, waypoints, points of interest, vistas, jumping puzzles, meta events, and hidden achievements. Yes, you read that right. EVERYTHING >:D For the train, please make sure you have:
Tentative Itinerary for the Day (in CDT time)
This will be a full day event, so you are welcome to hop in and out. I will be trying to keep the map as full as possible with overflow squads, but I can't guarantee you a spot in the case everything fills. This event will also be live-streamed at https://www.twitch.tv/eminyaa. Swing by, say hi even if you're not on the train! I'll be answering most questions there; plus, it might be helpful to have it on in the background since I tend to give warnings/information during the train itself. I will be playing on my Chrono 'Emi Nyaa'. Squad will be up at 12 CDT exact. The first 10 minutes will be reserved for whisper invites only. Once it hits XX:10, the squad will be up in LFG → Open World → Verdant Brink. This is on a first-come-first-serve basis, so please don't spam my chat if the squads are full! Feel free to add me on Emikadon.8542 in game or Emi#6622 on Discord. If you have any questions, you're welcome to whisper, mail, or private message me at any time, and I'll do my best to respond. Keep in mind that once the train starts, it'll be hard to respond to individual people, so please be understanding if I don't reply. [Giveaway Information] Courtesy of ArenaNet's partnership program, I have 5 GW2 400 Gem codes to give away during this train! In addition, by partnering with Guild MM's Trading Company [TP], we have hundreds of gold worth of goodies to give away. 1 gem code and 150g will be given away between each map that we complete, and it will be done using a giveaway extension on my stream. This means that you do not have to be in the physical train in order to be eligible! Anyone on any server from anywhere in the world can participate, so long as they're present at the time of the drawing and are able to type in chat. Note: You cannot win more than one code. Thank you, and I hope to see you there! Small screenshot collection from last train, (thanks lostwingman and huskybcake <3) https://imgur.com/a/dYJsCSZ [link] [comments]
