    When did Anet "fix" Consul's Tomb POI in Thunderhead to make it even more annoying?

    A friend and I had both lefts alts inside the purple tomb room in Thunderhead to use as ports in for characters that hadn't repeated the story. A couple days ago,I found my character outside the room when she asked me to get her in, so she had to port me back in with her mesmer that was still inside. After I was in, and standing more than a few feet back from the gate, she used a tele-to-friend and was immediately placed outside the gate. I moved farther into the tomb, and she used another to successfully enter.

    Moving on to today, we both found that our port characters have been moved back outside the gate. I'm not sure about my friend, but I know for sure that my character was left far inside the gate, at the entrance to the room where the POI actually is. My friend has been on an alt mapping frenzy lately, and will now be stuck waiting for days or having to repeat a significant chunk of story again and again just to get a single POI.

    This has always been a mess, and desperately needed the same "get it from outside the gate" fix as the Hoard POI. Instead, whatever Anet has done is making this even more frustrating than it already was.

    Armor damage/repair

    What is the point of armor damage and repair as a game mechanic? Repairs are free and instant. The only inconvenience is if you're in a instance without an anvil. Is it just to sell repair canisters? Is it a left over of an old mechanic in the game? It just doesn't seem punishing enough to be a punishment so it's kinda just a pointless inconvenience.

    How often does the "Plant the Banners" Koda trial spawn for the patrol events?

    I've read that you are supposed to take out the initial wave of enemies, then stomp bodies, then kill reinforcements to get the achievement. However I've only seen the event spawn once in the past few days I've played where it failed because people killed the reinforcements too fast.

    I have kept an eye on the game open on the side for 2-3 hours each day and I haven't seen it spawn. I tried taking a more active role and went and killed the 3 patrols (fallen in northeast, svanir at Gates, aberrant in forest) on respawn to speed up event respawns and still the trial never spawned after 30 or so events.

    Any Renegade Bow PVE builds around?

    Hi guys, I've grown a bit tired of bonk-bonk-swording things so I thought I'd maybe try some of that ranged rev. action. But as I went to metabattle, I can see that there are none in the top segments. Is there a viable bow build as of now? And could you in that case pretty please link it :)?

    Buff Banners: Are they suppose to disappear in WvW now upon logout?

    Before October 2019, you could almost always find a Hero banner at the spawn of your WvW camp.

    After, I've noticed they are almost never there. Is this a bug or part of a new balance patch of some strange kind?

    Just reached level 80, how to improve my mastery?

    Hello! I just reached level 80 and I looked through guides here on the subreddit but they all are 5-7 years old and isn't relevant anymore.

    I think I understand masteries alright but I don't know how to gain mastery points, like I was stuck at 100% exp because I couldn't find any points, people told me to get achievments and something they called "curves" which I still don't understand, I tried a few achievments but many of them require things I don't have like special mounts ( I only have raptor )

    Does it exist a good up-dated guide on how I stop being stuck at 100% exp and start gain mastery points?

    What should a newer player do upon hitting 80?

    I'm a noob, I feel like the game just kinda pats you on the back and says good luck when you hit 80. Any recommendations? I have both Heart of Thorns and Path of fire, boosted a Necromancer after playing my Mesmer up to 80.

    Is it still possible to work towards getting Twilight (the legendary great sword)?

    I was looking at the collection items you need for Twilight 1 and the first thing they show is the item final sorrow which you get from a ghost named Elise after you escort a giant named Fen to her grave. So I did the escort mission with Fen and he thanked me and I completed it but Elise never showed up. I'm wondering if its random that she shows up and I just have to do the escort event again until she does? or is it just not available anymore?

    I even went back to her grave after completing the mission and walked back out of the cave with Fen to see if that would trigger something but once he got out it just reset and I would have to start the event again.
